We have another size down which we love. This size is just right for our small family (my husband me and a baby). It is so useful we don’t use it for rice only but many other dishes.

Great! Perfect size for many things. Small roasts, bread, soup, lighter weight than the ones with dufour lids. Lid fits 8" Stay pans. Love it! Wanted to buy Cherry.

I ordered at Amazon but this pot was shipped by Amazon JP. It took less than 10 days to get it delivered to the US address, no damage on shipping. I got a good price at the time of purchase.37 days after it delivered, I edited it to be poor quality:I use this pot mainly for rice cooking, twice a week at most. I hand wash it after use and let it completely dry. Unfortunately, it happen today that the protective enamel on the edge of the lid peeled and came off, made the cast iron exposed. Since it is over the 30-day return window, no way to make the return. I did not expect highly praised Staub brand would have issue like this. Very unhappy about it.
