Works great and will last a long time
I purchased this pair of light sensor switches to replace one that lasted me a few months. So far one has lasted over a year and a half of constant use. For the price and you get two this is a great deal.

I bought them for the lady down the street's light and then found out she forgot to turn on the power to the light and that it worked perfectly,so I didnot need them so I had to return them thank you

Just fine I didn’t realize the sensor comes In different sizes or thicknessas long as ur wires r there the connector are good, of course turn off the power!

Good as a replacement, self power consumption ~0.5 watt
I replaced a "proudly made" thermal proto relay from Home Depot which was consuming >1W permanently, turned on when there was still enough daylight and was collecting moisture through wire holes so they fail once a year.This one is electronic, it is cheaper, and consumes twice less power. It uses real relay, and its setting is at ~20lux - which is just about right.One hint - the CdS sensor is placed close to front window, so if mounted in close to the luminaire, the direct light may cause on/off cycles. Make sure that the direct light does not shine on the sensor. A simple solution is ~1 inch piece of black/opaque tube mounted on the photocell.

Easy to install ,just take the light off the top the pole disconnect the 3 wires install the sensor and reattach the wires and put the light back on the top of the pole …
