Small, easy to install and it works
I get stuck in too many virtual meetings and was depending on my laptop camera for these. Bad idea, couldn't get the light to appear natural, auto-focus sucked and it was a little glitchy. This I went shopping for another solution, I settled on this because it seemed to have all the features I wanted: strong software, easy setup and reliability. It has been in use almost daily for a year now and continues to outperform.

For the price, the quality is not so great
For the price, this is not the greatest webcam. Even in a sunlit room with a couple of studio lights turned on the color is very muted, not saturated or true to life. In the same room at night with the studio lights on the color was even more off. For something they say has "enhanced low light performance" it doesn't seem to be doing all that well even in normal room light during the day.I see a lot of "sparkling" at some high contrast areas, like where light reflects off some shiny black shelving in my room. This usually means that whatever video compression chip the camera is using isn't a very good one and is struggling. Overall I would say the quality isn't up to something like a Logitech C9xx series camera which is generally cheaper. It will beat the quality of some of the worse built-in laptop cameras but not by much. The overall quality of the camera in my old MacBook is better. The build quality is pretty good in general, though the little privacy shutter doesn't lock in place so with just a small bump or tilt it will slide to one side or the other. The mount is versatile enough to fit on any monitor, it has rubber padding and a 1/4-20 tripod thread as well. You also get a USB A-to-C adapter.I actually got this to use as a camera for monitoring my 3d printer and it will work for that, but honestly I don't find the quality of this camera to be worth the price. So unless this goes on sale for below $50, I'd get a different camera.

Works best if you install the software
I'm a full-time telecommuter and use Zoom, Teams and WebEx for my meetings. I rely heavily on my camera and it's important to have one that's clear and adjustable for my environment.Outwardly, this much like a higher-end version of the sample style of camera that's available everywhere for far less money. It installs and works like a pro but doesn't immediately offer a lot of configuration options. HOWEVER... if you read the fine print in the documentation, it recommends you download and install the "Kensington Konnect" software to maximize your experience. It wasn't until I did so that I became impressed.Using the software, you can make multiple minute adjustments to the image to create exactly the light-level, sharpness and zoom level you want. You can also pan the image as necessary. When you achieve the perfect set of settings for your needs, you save this configuration. When you look at your Teams,WebEx or Zoom camera options, you'll find this "virtual" camera listed for selection along with the default camera. You can create and save as many configurations as you like, based upon your environment or needs. As long as you have the Konnect software loaded, this works perfectly. The downside is that you must have the Konnect software loaded to support these alternate virtual camera configurations. When the software is loaded, the camera is "on" or active. I've got in the habit of loading the software each morning when I start the system, then sliding the lens cover in place until I'm ready for a meeting.By and large, I'm very satisfied with this camera. I love the results when using the software, but I wish that I didn't have to do so, or that there was a program "stub" I could run to perform most of this functionality automatically. So far, using the adjustments, this combination has provided the best visual I've found with my office computer. If more of the functionality were built into the driver or a background solution, I would likely be more apt to purchase this again in the future. Likewise, my recommendation hinges on this as well... many will find this solution too cumbersome and will only use the camera with the default setup, which makes it only slightly better than the many $30 versions in the marketplace.
