I bought this for my hallway and wanted a neutral colour so it didn’t dominate the room. I am happy with the clout; it’s neutral yet warm. It feels welcoming.I wanted an extended shoe wiping area to the coir doormat that is already in place. Coir doormats tend to be small and, as our front door opens inwards, it’s hard to completely dry shoes without stepping further into the room (due to need to close the door after you). I don’t think our layout is unusual in this.This rug means people can wipe the excess on the coir mat and, as they walk through, the dirt trapper blots any excess water or mud. It is effective in doing this and my floors have been much cleaner and drier since purchasing. I have a dog too, and the rug dries his feet as he pads across it after his walks.The rug is lovely and thick and feels soft underfoot. Although it’s doing a job, it doesn’t look like doormat overkill (with my two doormats) because this one looks like a decorative rug.It came folded up, which was annoying as it took a few weeks for the creases to disappear. But now they have, and am very happy with it.Would recommend.

I have two young children and use this as a barrier mat from the kitchen to the living room to stop the messy kids treading rice and bits from the Lino to the carpet. It works well and doesn’t slip. Good value for money and light. Only problem is it’s not machine washable.

I've not actually tested the dirt trapping properties with wet muddy feet yet,but for just wet feet on a rainy day, it does the job well enough.I like the large, almost size of the one I have....doesn't slip about on my tiled floor, but not had it long enough to need to wash it yet, so don't know if it maintains its dirt trapping quality.It's a decent thickness, and doesn't feel flimsy. The choice of colours is a bit gloomy, but bearing mind it needs to disguise dirt, that may be no bad thing.I'd buy a runner, too if they had that size in this range.

This mat is good quality and looks great. It’s actually the second one of these I have bought the first is still going strong after several years in a high traffic area. It also washes well. Recommend it.!

This mat is fantastic as it really absorbes any wetness from the outside on shoes to leave the rest of your floors dry and clean. It's thick piled and absorbent, even though it's not a heavy mat, it doesn't slide all over the place when wiping feet. It looks really good at the front door and back door too. Highly recommend and great value for money :)

Great mats. Thick pile and good colour. They do what they are supposed to and absorb dirt and wet from shoes and dogs coming in from the garden. I would have awarded 5 stars but they posted them folded into 4 and I can’t get rid of the creases. I should have returned them for a refund but I’d hoped the creases would eventually drop out.

Nice mat, seems to mop up the worst of the wetness from dog walks etc. Not sure how it will wash yet - not sure about the cold washing?

Wow. I was so sceptical about this claiming it'd stop muddy paws, but it really does. Worth every penny, mainly because I'm not constantly mopping my floors so much 😁👍🐾🐾
