I could see from the photo on Amazon that this Potato Chipper was good quality, and when delivered I was proven right! Unlike many Potato Chippers, this one uses very heavy duty aluminium and stainless steel and is well built, so it doesn't buckle under force. And to use this chipper or any other chipper quite a lot of force is required to push the potato through the cutters. So, this is NOT a device for the weak or elderly to use!The device has good sucker feet but all of my worktops are textured so they do not stick. However, this is not the fault of the device! If the device had a slightly longer handle it would have a bit more leverage and would not require as much force to use, but that's only a slight negative.I am completely happy with my Potato Cutter and I totally recommend it!

Having sustained cuts to my finger tips from the new but weak chipper, I was desperate to find one that was more substantial in construction. I saw this one and despite the high price, it seemed the right one to get. It was easy to assemble and prepare for use. However, the reason for the dropping of a star is because of the feet. They simply do not adhere to the glass surface protector it is sat on. I have to hold down the two rear feet, otherwise the chipper tips forward. The chipper takes huge potatoes, meaning you get proper long, thick chips. One thing However, anyone not able to stand whilst chipping potatoes will struggle with this. It does take some elbow grease to cut the potatoes.

This is so easy to use and save loads of time especially if you leave the skin on

The suction pads were misshapen and didn’t stick to anything. It had white guides on the runners (not shown in pics) which made it very difficult to even move the blade - slightly better now I have removed it. I don’t know if it was just mine but the blades seem very blunt so squashed the spud rather than cutting it. Overall I would say don’t waste your money and go for a cheaper option (I did previously and it was a much better chipper). Very disappointed ☹️

I’m an avid cook but this chopper was almost impossible to use. The suction cups slip and it moves whilst because you have to apply so much pressure to actually chip the potato. I’m a grown man and honestly it was super hard to do. Your kids won’t have a chance. Even smaller potato’s were an effort and sadly we gave up and returned the item. It’s a shame as the product seemed to be well made.

Easy to use very good quality very sturdy you won't be disappointed

Not tried yet but it looks and feels real sturdy and I’m sure it will be a great addition to our kitchen gadgets

As another reviwer has said, it's sort of let down by the suction cups, as they really don't work all that well, and to the point, they cannot be relied on.However, it does the job of chipping spuds very well, and takes very large spuds. Just a shame about those suction cup feet,although i'm not allowing myself to be put off by that.I'd like to know if there's a cutting attachment for 'Steak Cut Chips'?
