There is no shelf bra which wasn’t an issue. I am a 32D so I wore a strapless bra underneath this shape wear and it worked great

That won't happen with this garnet. If anything it is quite loose. It fits comfortably

Yes there is a crotch hole, not sure what you mean about hooks but you can add straps if you need to, I did not wear it but I liked it enough to keep for something else it might work for.
