Aqua Bound Stingray is the real deal
Extremely well made and very light. Performs as good or better than paddles twice the cost. Would recommend to anyone

Kayak paddle
I have used a lot of paddles. This by far has been the best. Ease to put together, braking down just as easy. Good price because of the quality. Im 5foot and it fits me well.

quality versatile low-angle paddle
I have two kayaks that are different enough in width that having an adjustable width paddle made a lot of sense for me. Sliding the two halves at the adjustment point is super smooth and the lock is solid with no wobble. I'd say that the paddle feels both light and stiff to me. For sure there are lighter and stiffer ones out there at higher price points. But for what I wanted with the adjustability and avoiding the cost of full carbon, I feel like this is one of the better choices, if not the best.

Worth it!
It's as good as I've been hearing about for years. Very comfortable and light. Cuts through the water effortlessly which makes for a relaxing experience. When you dig in to gain some speed, the paddle behaves nicely and delivers. Easily pushes along the 10.6 Loon. Love this paddle.

super light, but super rough shaft
I splurged on this paddle for a recent canoe trip to the boundary waters, and it served me well. It's as strong as it should be, and lighter than it needs to be. It was perfect for strong wind on open water, especially since I was paddling solo. My only complaint with it was that the handle is very rough. To save weight, the manufacturer did not cover the carbon fiber cloth with any more resin than necessary. Personally I'd prefer to sling another ounce or two without the worry of my hands getting chewed up. I would not want to use it very long without gloves, or rubber grips could be added (I have not tried those yet). It's a 5-star paddle with gloves on, but an unpleasant experience without. I initially was going to rate this paddle as a 5, until I remembered this caveat. I have held much cheaper fiberglass paddles that were smooth, and only weighed a couple ounces more. Weight was my key motivation on this purchase, and I feel misled in that by the time I modify these to make them comfy, they will weigh just as much as the fiberglass paddle at half the price. But, I prefer not to wear gloves. If you prefer to wear gloves anyway, this should not be an issue.

Outstanding Value
Lightweight and great performance

Hits the sweet spot for performance and value.
There's a reason you see so many of these paddles; it's a great value for the money. You could spend twice as much and get something that is only slightly lighter/better performing, but for 85% of the paddlers out there, this is all you'll ever need. You could also find other paddles that are priced similarly but not as light. The blades are fairly stiff, although probably not as stiff as 100% carbon fiber. It makes for great energy transfer just like a quality carbon fiber bike will efficiently transfer your effort into forward motion. You can adjust the feathering, as with any good paddle; I find that 15% is the right amount for me, but my last paddle would only allow 30% in each direction. Until I'm ready to spend over $400 for something a tiny bit better, I'll be using this one for a while.
