An Exccellent Value for the Price
Blue Zon Nicoya Culo De Pero is a great seaoning for Chicken Tenders or Cutlets. Combine some regularpoultry season excellent flavor. I Became of aware of these products while visiting Costa Rica this summer. The Other two seasoning might be a little too hot, so taste it before you use them. However, they are good seasoning to use with meats for great flavor.

Blue Zones Nicoya - Gourmet Mild, Medium & Extra Hot Sauce "Nalga de Perro, Congo, Killer"
First a tip for anyone that buys this... whereas soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce both tend to have a top which restricts the flow of the sauce to a drop at a time... these do not. With that in mind and no desire to just randomly trust how much of each I dosed my food with I found out that the "flow inhibiter" from a 10oz Lee and Perrins Worcestershire sauce bottle was a perfect fit for each of these as long as you also switched out the cap as well so you could close it).Once I could test this 1 drop at a time, I was off to the races testing it on my food one drop at a time or a couple of drops at a time trying first the Nalga de Perro (mild, it is cayenne pepper based), then the Congo which as its name implies is Congo pepper, the Killer which is bhut jolokia (Ghost pepper). Now, a word of warning here, how hot a pepper is or a sauce... it is somewhat subjective. That is to say my mom would claim these were eye wateringly hot, but she has a problem with many medium jars of salsa and when my dad was alive, he'd probably say not hot enough. That being said, I am usually pretty good putting a healthy dose of cayenne pepper powder on food to the extent you can see it turn it a mean shade of red. That out of the way... I thought the Nalga de Perro was actually pretty mild all things being equal, it did have a good flavor but if you really want to "bring the heat" you probably aren't thinking cayenne anyway since on the Scoville scale (a scale of at least theoretically how hot a pepper should be relative to each other... keeping in mind it is a measure of how much capsaicin is in it versus others) it is pretty much on par with what Tabasco peppers are (yes, the same ones from the sauce by that name). The Congo was marginally hotter (for reference apparently Congo pepper is another name for Chocolate Habanero (which is hotter than cayenne but, in the sauce, it was milder than what I expected. That brings me to "Killer" the bhut jolokia (Ghost pepper). When you try this stuff, do not be fooled by the relative mildness of the others, it is considerably warmer. Now, granted this is a non-scientific type test but I decided to get the hot sauce sampler because I was having some sinus issues and wanted to try to clear them and thought... yeah, hot sauce will do it. The first two not so much, the "Killer" yeah... a few drops of that did the trick, only with the Ghost peppers I think there is likely a lot less leeway between "cleared my sinuses and tasted good" and "OMG I AM BURNING". I say that because while one drop here and there was fine a couple of drops at a time seemed to amp it up and if you just go nuts with it... pretty sure it would seem really hot.All this being said, I liked each one and certainly will experiment around with them especially when eating some of the Indian food I like so that I can spice them up, but I will be careful on the "Killer" sauce to be sure I don't overdo it. In this case I got these free to try but I would be willing to buy it to use even if it is pricier than basically any hot sauce at the local grocery or big box retailers (because I just think this product tastes better and on a food product what is the point in comparing costs if the other option is not something you'd want to use).I recommend this product.
