It’s made of aluminium parts connected with a leather strap in the middle. The airtag is secured magnetically inside via several magnets.Pros:- I like the sturdy metal clasp and airtag holder, nothing feels like it’ll wear down easily.- Magnets are strong with a solid closure- There’s some pads inside the space so your airtag fits snugly in there and doesn’t rub against the metal.Cons:- Cutouts aren’t covered with a plastic window, so your airtag may get scratched up from contact with your keys overtime (unless you stick some kind of decal onto it)- Not sure how well the glue that’s keeping the magnets on the case will last overtime.

I don’t often write a bad review, but I cannot give this product a good one. I brought this item because of the good reviews, when it arrived I was very happy with the look and the light weight feel of it because I wanted it for my dogs collar.Air tag fitted in well the magnets felt secure when I closed it up, took the dog on several walks with it attach to collar and he didn’t notice it on there, but I’m afraid to say on one of the walks when I got back home I noticed the air tag was no longer in the holder! So clearly the magnets are not as strong as they seem as it must have opened enough for the air tag to fall out and then close up again. So not only have I wasted money on the case I'm also an AirTag down as although I can see where the air tag is because I hadn’t noticed at the time it’s several miles away! So I would say y this isn’t any good to put on dog collars even though it states it can be put on one.

Air tag holder came very quickly and in good packaging noting it’s from a small company ran by Holly and James. I’m really happy with the air tag holder, it’s solid and has magnifies inside the case to hold it closed. Appears very durable and looks like it will last forever. Very easy to use !
