50 Crystal Clear Self Stick ID Overlays, Thin .05 Mil

perfect and worth every penny.

They stick well but I have used 6 of them and they all have micro bubbles. I tried laying the backing over it and smoothing the bubbles out with various objects with no luck. Two of the 6 had a small crease along the edge and they stick up. Also the adhesive has gotten on the front of some of the overlays and some are stuck to each other and one of them pulled off the backing when I tried to separate them and ruined one of them. They seem like they are durable once on so they are good for protecting but not so good for a quality look.

Not much to say, it works.

I bought this item twice, both times sold by IDCardSupply. The first batch was usable but had various issues: some of the overlays were not cut correctly, and many were stuck together such that the backing of one stuck to the front of another overlay, leading to splotches. The second batch was a completely different, softer material and was impossible to apply without both air bubbles and glue bubbles forming while smoothing them out. Both packages were labelled the same way.Because it's impossible to say which reviews describe which type of overlays, it's not safe to order this item.

The overlays are indeed quite thin. So thin in fact it's really hard to get them to lay perfectly flat. I was trying to use them to protect some pictures I printed and the second it touched the paper it was impossible to get it to come off without destroying the paper. When I used it to cover a PVC card it went on much easier, and allowed me to peel it back and fix where it hadn't laid properly. They are slightly smaller than a standard CR80 sized card which means you don't run the risk of an edge catching while handling the card. I good product, though not useful for my project. 4* because they are hard to work with and are not what I would call "Crystal Clear".

Ended up not being able to use these. There is a “ripple” in them that makes them non-smooth. They are also dirty. Will add picture. They also reflect the light a lot and it’s hard to see through them.

they came in poor quality... corection, 18 of them came in poor quality with some kind of smear on them, some are creased in differnt areas. and some didnt even come fully covered on the adhesive side so they wont stick properly..

They do exatly what they're supposed to. Nothing too good or too bad to report on. Will likely work out fine for whatever you need.
