It works, it is well made. Only problem with flat hoses is the kink like crazy, try to go round a even a very slow bend and it will kink enough to stop a submersible pump which is what I was using it for. I assume all flat hoses will be the same.

When in use watch out for kinks.

Needs to be straight.
If the hose had to go around any corners it would immediately put a hard kink into itself and stop any water flow, so I had to guide it around circular objects to enable it to go where I needed it to go.
