Good clean look to them, and they feel nice in the hand. Mine are all in good condition.If there was a smell when I opened the pack the first time, I don't remember, but the ones I received have neither a strong nor weird odor. They have a light smell of craft store paper, which I don't find unpleasant at all.One of the reviews mentioned them staining easily with light use, but I am not personally having that problem. I addressed about 25 of these when they first came in since they will eventually all go to the same person. Looking over them, I don't see any marks or staining. I even ran one between my fingers to test it, and it looks fine - no sign of staining. I don't use lotion, so I'm not sure if that might make a difference.I've only sealed one so far, but the adhesive seems nice.The paper is kind of dark, as kraft paper tends to be. I was a little worried that the addresses might not be clear, but a felt-tip pen shows up nicely.

I like making all of my own invitations and cards and was looking for a cute, good quality envelope to use. These checked off all the boxes and even go through my printer easily as well.

Definitely worth buying. They fit cards perfectly, I needed extras for pictures that I wanted to send out. Love the fact that I don’t have to lick/wet the seal, they self seal.

They are a little thinner (in material) than expected.
