Overall hands down has been the best. I have had other in same class. But this one is quality and straight forward. I have not got to use hands free unit yet. I do love the switch to change from dog 1 and dog 2, it takes the guess work out of it. It's up or down and it has a clear click when you switch it. The collar is modest and fits nice on the dog. Will be buying second collar. Love the boost also, I have 2 shepherds and one is dog reactive. This is the only collar that Clearly tells him no and brings him back to earth. Then go right back to regular training.

Like the low profile. Replacing a large blocky trainer. This collar was like 3x the cost. Seems much more well built and durable. Wish this collar had a tone or light as well for the money. But my dog is responding much stronger to this page than the last collars buzz. The knob to change settings is great until you try to get on a specific number. Took me way longer than it should have to get my boost set to exactly 10 and not 9 or 11.overall excellent collar.

Still learning how to use it’s a learning curve I have a very overwhelmed German shepherd. It’s overwhelming for me too.

Excellent training collar with ability to add a second dog collar. I love the lock feature so the stimulation setting does not accidentally get changed while walking or hiking. And boost is perfect when it is hard to get his attention with the normal training level like when he is excited and jumps up on people. Learn what setting to use and be consistent. Train your dog with the lowest setting that gets his attention and boost for when he is excited - I put his numbers on a label on the clip. Easy to setup. Just pair, set level and boost, then lock, before putting on your dog. Tip: put a little lock-tite on the screws for the belt clip so the screws don’t come out.

I just emailed and asked Dogtra about car chargers b/c I was sure I was missing something that I can't find one that works. This is what I got back:"We currently do not have a car charger adapter for the ARC system. It uses a 10v charger and we only have car chargers for our 5v and 12v chargers. The size of the barrel is 5.5mm but due to the polarity from our chargers, there is no guarantee that it will charge if it fits."
