Although the wood quality is good and has a consistent shape, I was let down by the number of wood I received. Now I'm forced to buy more

Some of the block were wonky but it came with a piece of sand paper so it was easy to fix, was easy to paint, easy to hot glue and even easier to get delivered since it came in a small box with sleeves that held all the blocks together. Decent.

Missing 6 blocks and one came broken.

I genuinely don't understand why it's impossible to find small wooden cubes of good quality on Amazon. I'm seriously struggling to find any. I've scoured loads of listings, read reviews on them all, saw someone mention these ones were good quality. Wrong, in my experience. The sizes are all different meaning when glued together there are huge gaps between the cubes, unfinished rough edges on most cubes which makes painting a nightmare because the finish is different between cubes AND multiple cubes are downright unusable because they're missing entire chunks out of them. So functionality is dreadful.So sad as I was very excited to receive these seeing the reviews mentioning "good quality". Either I've been unlucky, or their standards are very low, which wouldn't surprise me since, as I say, it seems impossible to find good quality cubes on Amazon. Definitely not value for money.Two stars only because it looks like 400 have been received, but I've not actually sat and counted them all so it could be less.
