These work just as well as the name brand sticky cards for a fraction of the price. We had an unbelievable summer with flying things in our house. We had the exterminator here multiple times and she said between the heat, nonstop rain, humidity, and the smoke winds from Canada, she couldn't keep up with all of the complaints. We put the name brand plug-ins all over the house but the replacement cards are expensive. These did the exact same job. As summer came to a close, we got fewer insects on the traps and I wanted fresh ones for the new season. I don’t even think about the cost with these awesome replacements. Easy to use and just as sticky as name brand. ❤️

These are cheaper and just as effective as the brand name cards that came with the original product. I was unfortunate enough to buy dirt for an indoor plant that came with fungus gnats and these bug catchers (along with BT granules) are essential for eradicating the annoying population of gnats that appears overnight. I have been so happy with these bug catchers that even though the fungus gnats are now gone, I leave them up (replacing the sticky cards as needed) to catch other gnats or fruit flies that seem to make their way inside on a daily basis. We live in the woods and like to leave our windows open and the small number of bugs that manage to make their way inside are a compromise. These bug catchers take up very little electricity and are also very discreet. I recommend not only the sticky cards but also the bug catcher to anyone who has the same issue.
