Probably perfect for food but not what we needed it for
Completely our fault, we were looking for T-leaves for Leis. Thought these would work but it didn't, perfect for food presentations

Smells amazing!
Never knew these leaves smelled so good! They're reminiscent of prunes and you can identify the smell as being a flavor for sticky rice. I had to use these in place of palm leaves to make celorot, which required me to trim them down into strips, but they worked pretty well 👍

Get moldy easily
Very disappointing, the bamboo leaves get moldy after staying outside on the countertop, even though it's vacuum sealed, there's water inside that will make the leaves moldy if you didn't treat it probably. You need to put them in the freezer, otherwise you need to use it sooner. There's a big smell of bamboo leaves once you take out from the vacuum sealed bag. You need to soak for few hour, hand wash and rinse several times before the smell goes away. These are fresh leaves, I used half and freeze the other half for future use. They are great, but it just big smell. The leaves are very thin, not strong enough to wrap fillings, you might need to use a couple leaves to probably hold the fillings together, otherwise it will leak out easily when you boil them in hot water.

Great for Kalua Pig!
These are wonderful to cook with. The flavor and aroma they provide is wonderful. They aren’t big, fat leaves, just FYI. I had to use several to wrap my pork instead of one large, but the flavor was spot on. The only thing to remember is you must wash them. There is a lot of black dirt stuck to the leaves.
