This is a great looking saber and even better looking in action or battle with friends. I love how it can be motion activated or deactivated at the twist and movement of my wrist and arm. The glow is very much what you would expect in a quality lightsaber. Pulsating! XenoSaber's smooth swing technology provides authentic sounding realism in every movement of the saber adding to the overall experience.It was relatively easy for me to configure the color and sound settings via the single button hilt control.Also, this is not just a display piece, but it is meant for dueling physically. I have wacked the saber against hard objects to test and can see that it is very, very durable. The hilt is beautiful, high quality detailed metal that looks great in my hand or on the wall when not in use.If you have been waiting for the best of both worlds in an affordable lightsaber, then you will not be disappointed in XenoSaber's lightsaber!

A saber that is durable and well constructed, but hard to use consistently.I have always admired the light sabers from afar, but this is my first one, so I am not able to compare and contrast from other models. I enjoy having it, but it is a bit frustrating to use.The good:The handle is solidly constructed with a distressed look. It is heavy and well constructed and will unscrew easily. There is a spot for three small screws at 3 of the 4 cardinal directions. When the blade is not installed, it might be best to remove the screws to avoid losing them/ 6 are provided in the packet with the alan wrench. The blade appears durable and lights up well with a bit of a light flare at the top which is to be expected. The blade is bright with different sound and visual settings to choose from. It comes with a charging cable, but not a plug, so you need to make sure that it is a 5 volt charger to charge it. It is bright and customizable.The bad:The directions are not easy to follow. Having one functional button and directional controls (hold and thrust, Hold and twist, hold for 0.5 seconds, hold for 1 second / 2 flashes, etc…) for all the options means that you are more likely to change the wrong setting as it is very temperamental. I struggled to turn the blade on and off in any consistent manner and often changed the sound settings, blade flash settings, color, or even turned it off in the middle of flourishing it around. The instructions are not well laid out and don’t mention that there is an app Xeno Configurator that can sync with the sword to help provide remote control (we saw that info in the product listing). It allows for a little more control, but initially kept trying to reconnect to the sword, the second time I used it it did not have that problem. The challenge is that after stopping to program the sword to what you want, it is very easy to accidentally change it and some of the settings have you scroll to select without labels. There are custom font (sound) options and directions, but I have not explored those.

I am not sure about the other reviews but my saber came with full instructions and is easy to operate. It is beautiful and works perfectly. Very happy costumer!

I dot recommend this lightsaber unless you want a pretty saber with no light.Lightsaber was great, great functions, well balanced. The detail was beautiful. Was bought as a gift for my husband who has Parkinsons, he is a HUGE Starwars fan and the plan was to use it as a type of therapy to help him regain some control of his tremors. Unfortunately 2 days past the time we could have refunded or exchanged it, the power no longer works and will not charge.No I have to decide if I want to turn around and spend more money on another one or tell my husband he is just gonna have to use it with out the features. Sucks for us.

This Saber is made well and feels good in hand. It's light enough that it's very easy to wield one handed over extended periods of time. I have multiple sabers from different manufacturers, and this is up there in terms of available options. It's my first with BT connectivity, and while thus is pretty cool, the app is a bit buggy. It connects easily, and it's easy to change sound font and colors, but some options like motion controls don't stay set. I turn them on, change screens, and when I go back they're off. It doesn't help that the app has all the available options for an actual Xenopixel saber. It means only some work with this. Still, I can't get some motion options to work, even when I know the controls are on. For instance I can turn the Saber and on off with a quick thrust, but changing fonts does not seem to work for me. Even the button controls for this don't work as far as I can tell. The only way I can change fonts is with the app.Another issue is that the instructions for this specific model aren't actually included. The lesser 9 font model and the great xenopixel model ones are, however this falls somewhere in the middle, and I feel like I don't have the complete picture of what this one ACTUALLY DOES and HOW to do it. Of note, this is a rebranded(?) Damiensaber, as is very obvious given the instructions. This isn't a bad thing in the least, it just is worth a mention.Time will tell as I get more familiar with it; perhaps I will unlock the secrets of changing fonts and the motion controls. For now though I am reasonably happy with the Saber and it's features. I hope the app gets some polishing, and maybe some specificity to only show options available to this Saber, and have those options actually work.
