Also works on CR10 smart
Had to get thos for my CR10 smart. The one thay came worh it from the factory cracked in half in the middle of a print. There's 2 reasons I gave this a 3 syat rating. One reason is that its made of plastic. They need to find a way to make a all metal version like they did for the MK8 style extruder. The other reason is that assembly was a bit of a hassle. Trying to get all the internal parts to stay perfectly in place while you try to line up.the bolt holes almost gave me a aneurysm π other than thay it works just fine and I haven't had anymore problems out of it. Thank goodness they use the same type extruder for the CR6SE and the CR10 smart !

Original new peplacement extruder did not work.
I bought an original CR6SE extruder to replace my 18 month old extruder. After spending almost 2 hours installing it it did not worked. I could not get the printer to print anything. I bought an all aluminum Creality extruder and spent half an hour installing it and it work perfectly. So donβt bother replacing your extruder with an original insted buy a MK8 extruder, it is better.

Not preassembled
I ordered this to replace my existing extruder hoping that it would come assembled as shown in the photo. After taking apart my previous extruder because I was having problems with it, I found that trying to reinstall the spring was near impossible, so I ordered this. Not only did it not come assembled, but there are no instructions on how to assemble it. I can't really do much without instructions, so I'm returning it.

Not an easy replacement
The photo shows it fully assembled. It doesn't come assembled and doesn't come with instructions. There are videos out there that give you pieces parts of what you need but this isn't for the faint of heart.
