I bought this for a recent trip. I have a 1 1/2 year old and a 4 year old that both like to be held. This was a life saver. It easily wraps around your waist with velcro, and a buckled strap. The carrier stays secure and does not move up or down while in use. The seat is big enough and comfortable for my 1 1/2 year old and 4 year old. You must still give them support on their back, but it relieves pressure on your back and arms. What a lifesaver for the airport.

I can't imagine living without this now! It makes holding my granddaughter so much easier. I like that you can position the baby in so many ways. I like to face her forward. It is really so great. It fits very well. I'm 5'3 and 140 lbs., it would fit fuller figures easily as well. It has VERY STURDY Velcro and a strap to buckle for extra security. It has pockets for wallet and phone as well. It was worth every penny.

Great for velcro toddlers
My child doesn't like her stroller anymore and carrying her everywhere has made me opt to not go certain places because of the hassel. She's about 27lbs and this works well for both of us. As a mom with a clingy toddler it's a MUST. If I have to take my kid somewhere its automatically coming with. Lots of great safety features like the seatbelt and the lock for the clasps. Adjustable, good back support. My kid will even fall asleep while fully strapped in so it's obviously comfortable enough.Honestly an essential once your kid can sit upright

Like this carrier
Really sturdy and secure. It has Velcro then a buckle on it so you donโt feel at all like it will fall off. Easy to use and takes a good load off your back and arms.

Absolutely love this carrier! My son does not like being in a normal carrier because he can't move or look around easily. This hip carrier is great!!! It puts all of his weight on my hips, he is comfortable and can easily move or look around. Very easy to put on, is a great quality, sturdy and does the job. This also saves my back because I'm not bent over carrying him and struggling. It's very easy to clean and a definite must have for us.

Not my favorite
I bought this for my 12 month old toddler who weighs around 25lbs. I wanted to use and like this item so bad, but it hurts your hip / back. However, this could be because maybe he was too heavy, so if you have a lighter baby / toddler this could be the right fit for you...but I ended up returning it.
