Fixed my light problem!
Fixed the issue where my lights were on all the time. Now it functions as it should and my DRL’s work aswell. This is a Genuine ACDelco part not some knockoff.

Easy ,quick fix for headlights on all time, no DRL
2003 S10 Crew Cab. Genuine GM product. 2 day delivery, easy to install under passenger side speaker cover. Remove the 2 screws, unplug sensor wires, 1/4 turn twist lock old out, twist lock new in, plug it in, cover back on, Done! Also a GREAT price! Many thanks to this supplier for great product, shipping, and price.

It worked in both an 03 2500 and a 2000 1500 a few screws to remove top of dash and you are in super easy to replace if you remove the pillar trim first then top comes right off

Sensor is a perfect replacement for a 1999 Silverado. Easy to install. Work as advertised. Good price. I recommend this product.

Fixed headlights were always on.
Like that this lille part fixed headlight were always on my 1999 silverado. It"'s a little bit of a task but doable.

as expected
Its actually easier to remove the dash pad (2000 silverado 2500HD) than to try and reach in and change it through the hole where the radio goes (I saw the youtube video where the guy does it, but believe me its not worth trying. You'll wreck the plastic and/or drop the new sensor into the abyss. Then you gotta take the dash pad off anyway. And while the dash pad is off, you can fix all the squeaks! Removing the dash is much easier than you think. Youtube is your friend.Best part about having a working ambient light sensor is being able to see the radio display during daylight hours ;)....not to mention saving wear and tear on lightbulbs.
