The Best Christmas Pageant Ever (Picture Book Edition)

Gave one of these to each of my adult sisters, and one has already read it to her kids/grandkids ages 10-33 this season. The artist did a great job illustrating, and the storyline follows the original. I love this story and revisit it from time to time. If someone does not know "the true original" that the book is based on (The story of Jesus' birth) then that could use some explaining.

I like the story very much, but I errored in choosing the picture book and have since purchased the longer version (novel) that I can read to my older grandchildren. Thanks for providing me with the more elementary version....I will share it with my other younger grandchild.

I love this book so much. The ending makes me tear up every time. I bought the picture book so add to our Christmas picture book bin and enjoy reading it every Christmas season.
