Decent tape.
This seems to work decently. I like the thicker style of it. The only problem I ran into was mixing it up with my waterproof tape. When it has a lot of water pressure behind it it will make a big bubble it stretches a lot. But it continued to stick. It was several passes around with it and it bulged out at least probably two and a half inches. But not a single part of it actually gave out. Of course I rubbed it together you know pressing it down over and over for a while long before I turned the water on.It was really impressive especially once I realized I had grabbed the wrong roll of tape. I figure after that sticking a couple of kids pictures up with it. Or kids drawings up with it won't be a problem. And I don't have to worry about it tearing if I unstick it due to the fact that I laminate their drawings. So far everything I've used it for it's stuck fairly well. Even on material, namely my curtains. My other half used it to hold them up when he rolled them above the air conditioner. These are heavy duty blackout curtains. It surprisingly held up very very well.I later used it to stick plastic around the sides out to the edges of the window on the air conditioner. It worked even better for that. That was one of the main reasons I had picked up double-sided tape. So for me it has worked fairly well.Of course there's also the hooks I put up in the kitchen. They're supposed to have their own little stick up things but the ones I picked up weren't strong enough to continue to stick while holding any of my heavy pot holders. This on the other hand worked terrifically for that. I couldn't tell you if it would normally do damage to the walls when removing it or anything because my walls are done in vinyl squares. Kind of wish I'd had it when I stuck the vinyl up, since the so-called self stick will barely hold in place on floors. Needless to say it took more than what's on the back of the squares to keep them up on a wall. If I had this at the time it might have saved me having to redo about 8 hours worth of it when it all fell down. Less than 5 hours after I finished putting it up.I know for ease of removal it came off the curtains fairly easily. It took a little bit of work to undo the wrap job I had done in the kitchen, where I used it on the connection between my washer and my kitchen sink. But it wasn't super difficult just hard because it stuck to itself and wasn't coming loose. Anywhere I've had it sticking to something else that's come off easy enough when I've needed it to. And it all comes off. Just when you have it stuck to itself it's much more difficult to get apart. Very possible with a little bit of work but much more difficult than on any other surface.

Adheres well!
Other two-sided sticky tape I've tried was too difficult to use and/or did not adhere as well as claimed. When I happened to find this Shy-Fly tape at amazon.com and read the positive reviews, I decided to try it. Voila, it works for me better than expected. I was hoping this tape would hold securely in place two pieces of carpet on top of my bedroom carpet, and it does the job really well! I made sure to put a strip underneath all four sides of each piece and press down firmly exactly where I wanted them. So now I have an extra top covering for a path from my bedside to the doorway entrance to my bathroom, which is probably the most heavily and frequently walked-on floor surface in my house. I'm so pleased that these pieces of carpet have not budged even a small bit. I've recommended this Shy-Fly tape to friends. I feel sure that it has many other good, reliable uses, as the product description and other reviewers have stated.

Best Ever!
I bought this to use in our new motorhome and used it to hang pictures and attach things to counters. I tried various museum putties before, which always seemed to fall short of my needs. Then I ran out, so I bought some other double sided tape, which is 1/2 the size, and impossible to get the back side off. I’m just reordering this and will never buy another type. It’s GREAT!!!!

okay but
does not stick to some surfaces very well mainly not on rough surface materials. does not require much at all on mirrors as too much and mirrors will crack before can unstick from tape. in heat comes loose unless you use a lot of tape. have to experiment to find out what works best but overall it is okay for lighter items as I would not trust it to hold up a fairly heavy item.

Great for outdoor use
I used the tape to adhere a led light rope to the balcony railing. I live across the street from the Gulf of Mexico and it works great even in that harsh atmosphere.

Good product
A very good product. A half inch strip holds up my faux neon lights just fine. I've been finding lots of uses for it. I'm happy with this purchase. Thanks

Good quality adhesion
The only thing I was worried about was getting poor quality. It is as good quality as this stuff gets with strong adhesion. Loves this stuff. So glad it was invented.

Crazy sticky
This stuff works GREAT! I used it to attach a seating chart cards to a mirror for wedding decor. Once it’s placed it’ll be very difficult to move, so be careful of placement.
