Excellent blend of form and function
This is a copy of a classic pen design so not an original but it is a great example of form and functionality. The pen arrived in a nice cardboard packaging with the Moonman logo. The pen itself is robust, feels good in the hand with a nice weighted feel. The retracting mechanism is smooth and positive with a good mechanical feel and I’ve had no problems with dry nibs or leaking. The nib is fine, flows well and is smooth across the paper. The look and design is more utilitarian than executive and would suit an engineering orientated or practical writer.

Great looking pen
A lovely looking pen, comfortable to handle but a very fine nib that feels to scratchy for me

Fantastic pen.
I love writing with an ink pen, but they are a bit princessy & prone to drying and leaking. So, like most people, I save my beautiful fountain pen for special occasions & use a boring ball pen at work. Not any more! This is my new every day pen and I love it! The nib is fine, which would not have been my first choice, but actually it's okay, no scratchiness & the nib glides smoothly across the page every time. Hasn't dried up, even when left unused for a few days. It's really the best of both worlds and I love it.

Not working after a few weeks - now too late to send back.
I put a lot of effort into this. Had to clean it from sticky ink, that was all over the box and the pen when it arrived. Only used it (or tried to use it) with best inks (Diamine, Herbin, Sailor). Now, after a few weeks the adapter inside has just fallen to bits and the pen refuses to work. No ink reaching the nib. I haven't had any problems with any of my fountain pens yet that I could not fix. Starting from a cheap but good looking no name , over the Preppy to my fantastic (quite expensive) Sailor. Would not buy this again. Perhaps it is just bad luck with this one, but I really cannot recommend.

Not nearly as good as the pen it’s trying to imitate
I’ve been using this for a couple of weeks in conjunction with my usual Pilot Capless. It’s very easy to see why this is a fraction of the price. The nib is scratchy, especially on certain notebook paper; the ink sometimes doesn’t flow at all or leaks and the body of the pen is cheap feeling, certainly reflecting the relatively low price. I wanted a cheap replacement for everyday use at work as I don’t want to take a £150+ fountain pen around with me, but I think I’ll choose a cheaper gel pen instead, one that actually works when you want it to rather than this.

Excellent pen
It is well made, it’s a smooth pen to write with and I find it came with all the attachment that work extremely well. EF nib is great for notes and I write a lot every day! A great price too!
