I got mine really quickly. No idea about the 1 to 2 month wait.

Q: Is the band like a bracelet or is it stiff?

It's like a bracelet. I lovelovelove this watch. Small, feminine and classy.

Q: So am I supposed to purchase the battery with this brand new watch because this is the second one amazon has sent me and both haven’t worked.

I purchased this watch in November 2020. Mine also arrived in non-running condition. The crown/stem was already pushed in. No plastic clip was to be found that would normally hold the crown out. Out of curiosity, I replaced the battery myself to see if the battery was the issue. It was, the watch ran and has continued to run fine with the new battery. I left a 3 start review below detailing this problem.
