Add this to your bedtime routine to help relax and prepare you for sleep!
My reflexologist recommended this for overall relaxation and health and I agree! This is mild tasting, needs no sugar or honey and really sets me up for that night time routine of getting ready for rest. It is calming, soothing and the price point is a good value. Thanks for this high quality product!

Disgusting waste of money, I a not sure this is even Kava Kava--Use to Yogi Brands
Kava Kava tea is one of my favorites, but branded under "Stress Relief" Yogi Tea brands, it always tasted so good until I purchased a box and some tea bags was damp, an tasted funny. Heard about the pesticide contamination in the tea and Yogi Tea recalls, So i switch brands, and this tea is the worse, it taste nothing like Kava Kava, Disgusting, Just Wrong. Definitely still looking for a quality brand with a great taste, replace Yogi Tea brands

Kava Tea or Kava Root
Functionality: It looks like the listing has changed since I ordered the item and the images look a lot more like tea leaf bags. The product I received was in a plastic container and contained a more powdery substance inside the bags. Did not do well in hot water, didn't intend to get Kava powder so I am not sure exactly what to do with it. Maybe I just did it wrong, but package instructions unclear.Quality: The container and bags were fine. Questionable contents.Value: Too expensive for what I got.Would I Buy? Nope

Good quality material with a bad execution
There are many similar negative comments for this item from people who have never tried kava before and tried to steep it as a regular tea. To address this: the kava in these bags is actually good. If you tried kava before, then you can expect a regular earthy taste and numbness of your tongue. If you haven't tried kava, then you should know that it is wildly different from teas and most people would find it to be unpleasant. While the kava itself tastes properly, I do have issues with this item overall. The first issue comes with a lack of instructions. A lot of this negativity in reviews could be resolved by providing at least minimal required steps to brew kava - either on a package or at least in the Amazon description. But the bigger issue is what is advertised as a benefit of this item - tea bags. While the idea of pre-measuring kava and sorting it by bags sounds nice, the bags hinder you more than help when preparing kava. Regular kava preparations include kneading and squeezing a sachet of kava, and the same steps here let you achieve that expected golden murky drink (see photo). But the tea bags tend to break after some kneading, which makes kava powder seep into the bowl. You can use cheesecloth or a strainer, but then what is the point of putting kava in a tea bag in the first place? So overall, I would not recommend this item. While the quality of kava is great, it seems that one would be better off buying loose kava powder instead.

Great! Use a fatty liquid
So there's 2 options for kava...First is use water and make a tea that's more a muddy suspension. This will only work for that as there isn't a lot in the bag.The best way is to use a warmed, fatty liquid. I used coconut milk (also masks the taste a bit). It worked great! The kavalactones absorb better in fat than water from what I have read.Could definitely taste the earthiness and a little numbing, which it should have.Much easier than using the special kava cloths and straining the mess. I'm happy I tried these and will stick with them for the most part! I'll be buying more.

NOT KAVA TEA!!
This is not Kava tea! Kava also known as awa is a plant that many Polynesian use for medicinal and spiritual purposes. Kava tea comes from the leaves of the Kava plant, whereas the Kava drink is where the root of the plant. The root is pounded into a powder than strained over and over in water. It looks like this company bout some Kava powder repackaged it in little tea bags and is advertising it as tea. Waste money.
