Played with a 4 and 6 year old. If we didn't watch the kids might have just played with the slime.The slime texture is super loose not allowing it to stay on the scoop but constantly pulling it back up.

The media could not be loaded. I got this game for my 4 year old niece, not really paying attention to what kind of game this was. It wasn’t until I opened the box and read the directions that I realized this game is not really for 4 year olds. Well, at least not this 4 year old, although the game does say 4+My niece had more of an interest in playing with the slime, than playing an actual game with rules. I will say though, we did like the quality and consistency of the slime.Because the slime is very slippery, it did end up on the living room table a few times, but it was no big deal as it was very easy to clean and did not stick to the surface.It’s been 3 months and my niece still enjoys the slime.

It’s a mess to play. Hard to clean up and my 4 & 7 year old get frustrated with the actual game. Just buy slime alone if this is something you are considering. Played once and put it right in the trash.

I am always on the lookout for games that my preschooler can play. This game is great. It's short, entertaining, and doesn't require any reading. The concept is quite simple - your toppings in your color are placed on the spinner, and you try to spin it to get all your toppings on before the top layer of ice cream (which is made of hot pink slime) "melts" off. There's plenty of slime included and the slime wasn't too messy. You could play this with one person if you wanted, or up to 4 people, but if you play with four people, you will have to go fast, or re-place the slime several times! There are two things that could improve this game: 1. There are a ton of little pieces and no place to keep them nicely in the box. It would be nice if the plastic they were wrapped in was resealable. I ended up using my own small zip-top bag for storage. 2. The cone holder, cone, and ice cream don't fit back in the box when assembled. I couldn't get the pieces back apart (I didn't want to force them apart and break them), so they're set outside the box. If the box was just designed slightly wider, it wouldn't have been a problem to keep them assembled.

It is hard to imagine how a game could be any messier than this one, but I am still giving it 3 stars because the grandkids like it, and that is really what it is all about. The slime is runnier and thinner than the typical slime you buy at the store, and as a result, it gets everywhere and is difficult to get off the hands, the board and the game pieces. The packaging could use some place for storage of the many small pieces. In reality, the game is just an excuse to handle the slime, and the slime gets everywhere and is difficult to clean up. From now on, this is a game that the grandkids will play at their own house, not at the grandparents' house!

Kids love slime. Mine do, and I expect yours (or your friends'/relatives' do, as well).This game is really just a pretense for them to get to play with some slime, with a little structure around it.There are a few other elements involved, the sort of thing you typically get with simple kids games -- learning to wait your turn, pick the right color, etc. There's a little fun to be had from hoping to avoid the fly.It's as messy as you expect, or possibly a bit messier. I recommend playing it on a tray or something, and being prepared to clean up a bit.Kids love the chance to play with something messy in a sanctioned way though (the only thing better is playing with something messy in an unsanctioned way, I suppose).
