I was concerned that it would pinch too hard, however, it pinched just right, and worked perfectly as intended! I used it to lift a cement catch basin that was +/- 4" thick. We had to reposition it, and using shovels as a lever was not working. I bit the cost, and this thing worked! I had a small surface area to grab, so I had to have someone hold it in place during the initial lift. It grabs quick, and solid! I am very happy with this, and although I don't know if I'll ever use it again, I know it's there if the need arises. Thank You for the great product and great price!
