Dr. WoodsVision Tea Tree Liquid Facial Cleanser with Organic Shea Butter, 8 Fl Oz

I have very oily skin and this is a great facial wash for me. I think a wash is too harsh when it makes my face "squeaky" clean, and this Dr. Woods product doesn't do that. It cleans the skin without stripping it. While anything with tea tree oil in it is going to have a strong scent, the scent in this product doesn't linger. Also, it doesn't irritate my eyes if it gets near them, which I am very grateful for. If you prefer that your facial wash makes suds, just pour a nickel-sized amount of this into your wet palm and rub your palms together very quickly. You'll get enough suds to see the wash on your face. (Otherwise, it kind of looks like you're spreading a clear gel on your face.) The suds make me feel like I'm really getting my face clean, even though there's really no difference one way or the other.

I ordered this based on the reviews, and it did not disappoint! I will try other Dr. Woods products too, because of the great experience and ingredients. I am so happy, I am ordering a second bottle so that I have one upstairs and downstairs. It really cleans and helps regulate oil production, leaves skin soft, not dry. Gentle and effective! I did get a few small whiteheads a couple days after I began using it, but this is a good thing, because it means that what was deep in my skin was coming to the surface and my pores were getting declogged/decongested. Nothing since. Please keep this in mind. I read lots of reviews for similar types of products that people claim made them break out, and they stopped using them. Probably they were just experiencing this detox phase and weren't patient enough.

This stuff doesn't have the best smell, but it has done wonders for my skin. I have noticed that my skin has cleared up. There is not as much redness as there was before. It took awhile to get used to because it almost has a different feeling (not sure how to describe it) when you're washing your face and rinsing, but once you move past that and the smell, it really does work. Took about a month to see the results, but that's typical with just about any cleanser. And the bottle is HUGE so it will last you a long time. Great value for the size. I will order again... eventually, when I run out.

Let me first start by saying I have tried EVERYTHING! I have even had laser therapy done on my face 10 times. While that helped, nothing has helped as much as this facial wash. My face is flawless. I have people commenting on my skin telling me how beautiful it is daily. Any remaining acne scars are almost gone. I have no breakouts of new acne since starting using this. I don't even need to use the medication prescribed by my dermatologist for acne anymore! What I love the most is that it is natural.You will not be disappointed if you buy this and use it consistently :)

I bought this soap after buying the Dr. Woods Castile Tea Tree Soap, I had been using the Castile soap on my face and was surprised how gentle and clear my skin was so I thought I would try the facial cleanser since it was actually designed for your face and has some extra goodies in it. I have combo skin with an oily forehead, nose and chin and very dry cheeks, my skin is somewhat sensitive so trying new products are a little scary. This product was more drying than the Castile soap and my skin feels mildly irritated. I have the black soap facial cleanser as well that I will try but right now the best cleanser I have found for my face is the Castile soap, my face has never been more clear and soft than when using that product, I just really want a product with extra good stuff for skin and anti aging but maybe simple really is the best.

BEST STUFF EVER. It really helps keep oil in check and I do love the effects of tea tree oil as an antibiotic that is from natural sources. I noticed an improvement right away in the clarity of my skin and I notice if I run out, I will get a breakout. Hardly needed any other treatment cream or anything to keep breakouts in check when using this wash regularly. Interesting scent too- very earthy and nice. Not too sweet and definitely not flowery. Truly herby and lemon-y. Your face feels nice and clean after using it, but not too dry and tight.

I'm very happy with this. I'm not all that knowledgeable about facial soaps, so I can't really compare to others very well. But I like this soap. It has a nice smell, but that's not really its selling point. It applies very easily. I was initially concerned about the very "slick" feel of the soap, but it actually helps a lot with the application. A small amount goes a long way because of how easily it goes on. That same slickness led me to try adding a small amount to my shaving soap, which made the shave a little smoother-- nothing dramatic, just a little better. Breakouts and ingrown hairs are mostly gone since starting with this. Again, I'm happy with it.
