Easy connectivity with an Intel interface
The SFP module linked up without any issues. An Intel-based device detected and activated it without any outside intervention. It then auto-negotiated the 1Gb link. I have heard of some modules and/or chipsets being locked to specific manufacturers, but I didn't experience that. A TCP test over Cat5e reliably saturated without dropouts or slowdowns. I am happy with the performance.

Works with TP-link and Davuaz, but release mechanism broke
This TAPDRA SFP-T looked like a really good deal for under $20. I just recently bought a used TP-Link switch with two SFP slots and this said it would work. I tried it and it did no problem! I then tried it in a Davuaz switch also with a SFP port. It worked and linked up with no issues as well. Then the problem started. One of the legs broke off the release mechanism and I had to push it all in myself to get it out. Only the second time it was removed, what a bummer. It still works once plugged in, so I will be using it with the TP-Link T2500G-10TS I have in my home lab.
