Nice and Solid
I'm using this with a Dragon Sniper mouse and it's working great. Has good feel and I'm not having the noise issue as some people have described. No problem with silicone pads coming loose either. Overall a great mouse pad of your looking for a hard surface.

Great option for those who don't like cloth mousepads - Fast, smooth and sturdy
I have an *ancient* Ratpadz GS, which is a hard, textured plastic mousepad designed for "high accuracy". Unfortunately, the plastic wore down over the (many, many) years of use, which created a "dead spot" right where the mouse usually travelled. And, since I've never liked the feel of cloth mousepads(even the "fast" ones), I looked around for a metal pad that would last; I think I found it!I use this pad with a G502 lightspeed for various tasks(gaming, programming, etc.) Yes, it technically has two sides, but the one most users are likely to use, is the logo side. That side has a subtle texture and my mouse glides over it with just a hint of friction, so it doesn't feel out of control. It's very nice! The other, non-logo side is basically brushed aluminum and has way too much friction for me. It also is noisier due to that friction and is also a total fingerprint magnet. I mean.. it's nice that they offer two different textures, but I certainly wouldn't buy this pad for the "back" side. The rubber feet on the corners and stiff aluminum construction allow it to be placed in a stable position, with no hint of slip, even when it overlaps my lap-desk slightly, which is very nice. All in all, this is exactly what I was looking for: a smooth, durable metal mousepad for work and gaming.

Amazing mousepad
I was worried it'd be too small or large, I opted for the medium which is perfect! It's not too thin or thick, making it really comfortable and durable. I really only use one side, but like the option available.Very smooth and comfortable. I'd recommend and even purchase this as a gift for others, it's a great mousepad.

Almost perfect but only one side is actually coated.
I've been a dual-sided Aluminum mousepad user since the Razer eXactMat.The Razer eXactMat had 2 sides, both with a coating, Speed & Control. It was a decent 13 x 10 but a bit shorter in usable area (oddly shaped). It was a great mat that I used for many years.Eventually the Control (my preferred side) started to wear down. I replaced that with a Rocketfish RF-MSEPAD which had the same dual-sided coatings over aluminum. Again I used the control side from habit. This was the best mousepad I owned and lasted more than a decade till I did something stupid moving stuff in my office.I tried searching for aluminum pads like those 2 venerable old friends and most I found were raw aluminum of PU leather coating that wears fast. With the history out of the way:Kovehn Dual-Sided Hard Mouse Pad (L)PROS:Size is good, neither too big or too small.Coated side with logo operates like the Speed Side from the old Razer eXactmat and Rocketfish pad.Corner feet are physically attached through the pad making them the strongest feet of the 3 mentioned pads.CONS:The other side of this pad is a raw aluminum that does not operate like the Control dside of the pads of old. It has tons of drag and chews mouse skates and likely plastic if you let it).Overall it performs well enough and I did purchase more than one as I prefer aluminum over cloth any day of the week. I do wish the that both sides had been coated like the aluminum mousepads of old. Still having the speed side coating which gives a glide that is sweet and still good control is close.I suppose I will have to try a glass mousepad as those seem to be the new/current trend for hard pads with excellent glide but for now this is a great budget option.Products Mentioned in this review:https://www.amazon.com/Razer-ExactMat-Anodized-Aluminum-Mousing/dp/B0002UECT8https://www.amazon.com/RocketfishTM-Gaming-Mouse-Pad-Black/dp/B001719CMIhttps://www.amazon.com/KOVEHN-Dual-Sided-Aluminum-Hard-Mouse/dp/B0BZ86VJFB

The problem wasn't this mouse pad..
For the last year I've had troubles with this mouse pad where my mouse had difficulty detecting movement on the finely textured, smooth surface; at some point I even resorted to trying to heavily scratch up the surface so that there would hopefully be more spots where the mouse's sensor would detect a change...In reality, the problem I was having was a figment of a bad, cheap mouse.I was using these $30 red dragon gaming mice that broke every couple of months and finally decided to spend an extra $30 on a Razer mouse that will hopefully actually last a whole year, but I quickly realized that the tracking issue also entirely disappeared for that extra $30 - it was like night and day, it felt so amazing to use all of the sudden. It was the cheap mouse, not this cheap track pad. This thing is pretty awesome besides the fact that it's kinda easy to break the feet off by accident - stick some double sided tape on the bottom and it's chillin tho.

Smooth High Quality Hard Mat
I was looking for a new hard mouse pad after using the corsair MM600 for many years and wearing it down. This mouse pad is everything I was looking for in a replacement. It has the same 4 corner grips to keep it from sliding around and the build quality feels great. The textured side is the one I prefer to use most of the time and it feels smooth allowing for perfect accuracy. Very happy with the product!
