Well made umbrella
The media could not be loaded. The erised's bifrost Reverse Umbrella uses a design I’ve been impressed with, as the last sections of the canopy bending upwards when folding, this is to reduce the chance of damage if flipped up in high winds but also makes it easier to avoid drips on the floor when coming in for the rain. The materials used are very good quality with the canopy material being quite thick, this does make it heavier but also makes the canopy feel stronger. The canopy itself is a pale pink on the outside and black on the inside. There’s also a reflective strip around the edge to help you be seen at night. The mechanism activates very quickly, firing the canopy open in no time. With the umbrella already up, a second press of the activation button will rapidly collapse the canopy again, very handy. If you don’t mind the extra weight, this Umbrella is a quality item that’s works well.

Strong, effective auto-fold-out umbrella
The things that distinguish this umbrella from other small umbrellas are all positive things. The mechanism for opening up or closing this umbrella has a real ping to it, it’s surprisingly powerful, and in a split second it can go from a tiny umbrella to full size. It does it reliably as well- every time I try it, it works, and it doesn’t need to be persuaded or given a push to complete the process. It’s as easy to use as it could be.The spines of the umbrella look quite thin, but they’re actually quite strong. I’ve tested bending them to see what happens, and it takes quite a lot of force to turn this umbrella inside out. As such it’s a lot more wind-proof, and resistant to turning into a sail when the wind blows sideways, than the last umbrella I was using. The reflective strip around the edge of the umbrella is a nice touch for evening use, and definitely a bonus- and not something people will notice during the day.One minor negative point - there is a slight smell that this umbrella gives off when you first unpack it, an odd chemical-meets-leather scent which isn’t all that welcome. Once it’s been outside a couple of times it eases off though. The black colour of the umbrella is a little shiny and does look like a bit like a bin bag, but in combination with the mint colour it’s a reasonably good-looking umbrella- not the prettiest, but OK.As I write this review, the price isn’t showing on the site, so I can’t comment on the value of it. But for the quality of the mechanism and the strength of the structure, I think it’s five stars.

A little intimidating
The media could not be loaded. Fairly sturdy umbrella, the speed at which it goes up is quiet intimidating as you can see from the video, It is also apparently an SPF umbrella so is good to use for sunny and rainy days should you wish?Nice colour. Works well in the rain, found it a little odd that pressing the button again retracts the umbrella. All in all a nice brollyGood value, and would recommend

Brilliant brolly!
This umbrella is well-made, feels very sturdy, and dramatically expands at the touch of a button. When you are finished with it, pressing the button again collapses the top part of the brolly and you simply compress the pole down towards the handle. The folding action is cleverly designed so that the wet outer part of the canopy is covered when it is collapsed, and so you can hold it without getting water onto your hands. The inner construction is flexible but robust enough to cope with the wind. Most of the pole is made from metal giving it a good, solid, but not too heavy feel. The handle is of quality plastic that feels nice to hold and includes a wrist strap. There is a reflective strip running around the outside of the canopy - a nice touch from a safety point of view.It is also worth noting that this umbrella is somewhat larger than most of the collapsible ones that I’ve seen, so I am sure will be very effective at keeping off the rain/snow from myself as well as anyone else who cares to join me 🙂Overall, I am very impressed with this umbrella and I’m certainly happy to give it five stars.

Robust Umbrella
This umbrella is really well made and resilient too. It features a 1 click open mode and one click to likewise collapse it back down which is very handy. It comes with a sleeve to store it in as well which fits well over it (even if slightly tricky to put back on once used)! I was definitely surprised on first opening the umbrella to see the black material showing vs the blue handle but this is just the way it stores collapsed down for a more efficient size and all looks normal once opened wide as seen in the pictures. Very pleased with how it handles itself in the wind etc. I'm not too sure I understand why it's described as an art deco handle mind as there's nothing that special about the handle. That said it's still a great value for money umbrella thats solid and resilient.

Teen daughter approved
My daughter wanted an umbrella that was not massive and something that would fit in her bag for 6 formIt arrived very fast on removing you meet with a well made different type of umbrella, its made from 100% waterproof synthetic material, vinyl style with a Teflon coating, that allows water to run off very fast. It is easy to open and close them. It is easy to open and close them. You just press the button to open them and the same to close them. You then manually push them back down again. It has got a reflective edge so people can see you in the dark, great in low light or dark nights.Over all does the job well
