I enjoy stitching Sashiko, Kogin and Hishizashi and this is an excellent addition to my bookshelves! Finally, here in the USA, there are more book options for those of us who enjoy stitching Kogin and Hishizashi patterns - I am hoping for even more in the future!This book offers 80 Kogin patterns, 200 Hishizashi patterns, and some really nice projects. The instructions are well done, the photographs are lovely and the patterns are very well diagrammed. The Japanese pattern name is included with the pattern diagrams without an English translation - I would have preferred to have both, but that is being too picky!Schaffer always seems to publish books I enjoy and this one is no exception! A beautiful and useful addition for me!
