This lock is one of a kind. I've never seen a lock like this and that's a good thing. The keys are even different. I love that you don't have to set the alarm every time although I do because that's what I bought it for. I recommend this product. And I like it so much I'm ordering another it even comes with extra batteries. It's a win win.

Appears to be a sturdy lock. It's a strange key so hopefully that will dissuade thieves from trying to pick it.

This is a very sturdy lock, or at least it looks like it. I'm not a lockpick, so I don't know how well it stands up to that, but it does have a very unusual looking key, and that usually indicates some resistance to casual tampering. The shackle is quite large, and comes completely out. You can insert it either way. If you put it in with the groove on the key side, the alarm works. If you put it on the side away from the key, it works like a normal lock. It arrived in a pretty rough-looking package. It comes with a set of replacement batteries in a carrier. The original set appeared to be run down, but when I replaced them with the second set, the alarm worked. It comes with three keys.
