I wanted something I could use while kitesurfing, so my requirements were:- Very waterproof: I'm going to be taking these things into waves and submerging them a lot.- MP3: *not* Bluetooth as that will lose connectivity a lot as BT does not work under water. I think this supports other formats than MP3, too.- Self contained: don't want a separate MP3 player and long headphones wire.- Low priced: I may lose it at any moment, and the ocean will eventually destroy it even if I clean it.- In-ear: sounds better, keeps wind/water out, helps prevent surfer's ear.Pros:-These things meet all of the above criteria! I don't think I found or have seen another product that does.- I've had about 4 or 5 of these over the last 3 years and they're great. Load them up with MP3s, make sure it's charged on my way to the ocean, toss it around my neck and go! Rinse off with fresh water when done.Cons:- The sound quality isn't particularly great, but it's 100% acceptable for what I'd expect out on the water if I'm being realistic.- The biggest thing it was lacking for me was that in unpredictable conditions like kiting waves, it may fall off and be lost easily. I solved this by attaching some $5 sunglass straps/retainers that I put on it like it's sunglasses. I cinch them up, and make sure that they attach via thin rubber loops that break away if something gets tangled. If you're just swimming laps in a pool or something, this doesn't apply.- Occasionally I've had a pair just stop working or start to do weird things, but the customer service has honestly been great and has refunded my order months later so that I can purchase a new, updated pair!Summary:An inexpensive, functional product that customer support stands behind. These are the ones for me!

Great sound quality, comfortable to wear, great battery life and easy to use. I purchased the player almost exclusively as an MP3 player for swimming laps.The radio works fine but I dont think you can preset stations so its not easy to get to your favorite radio station.

A great set of headphones that are well worth the price! This is my third set of swimming headphones and they are the best, by far! First off, they stay in my ears with a good seal better than any other set. That is a key factor in swimming headphones. I can swim for over a half hour without having to readjust the ear buds. The sound quality and volume is very good and the battery life seems good as well. The Bluetooth works well out of the water, but not in the water. That is not a fault of the headset, that is just a fact of Bluetooth. The FM radio was fair, but that wasn’t what I normally use anyways. The headphones are easy to load for the MP3 player. While you are recharging it in your computer, just drag and drop files into the folder that appears as a drive. Simple. Hint: Although the headphones are designed to be worn on the head above the ears, I prefer to wear them around my neck. They work fine in either position. The company offers and honors a two year warranty. That is pretty good! I think they are a really good value for money.

I wanted to wait to post this review until I received and used this totally awesome product. I received my package in late March. It came securely packed and arrived very quickly after my order was placed. I swim laps at the YMCA and have used this waterproof MP3 player everyday for 1hr. I had to ask my daughter to download my music because I simply could not figure out how to do it because I use Apple Music as my primary music source. Once my music was downloaded, I went swimming. OMG! the joy I have in the pool now. My workout is so amazing now that I can listen to my music while in the pool. The sound is great! The battery life is absolutely ridiculous on this thing. I am just needing to recharge it. Everyone in the pool wants one now. Thank you for an awesome product.

Before you think I am nothing but a complainer I must say this product has a marvelous sound quality when it works. I have owned four of these, two I purchased direct from Tayogo and the other two from Amazon. The first two had a name and logo of "Swim Audio" on the front, when you see the back cover of the instruction manual it says Tayogo Technology Manufactory (what is a Manufactory?)The first pair I purchased once I got it loaded by a 15 year old using a "MAC" was great. With the MP3 player being black, me being 73 there was no hope of loading this thing or seeing the correct command buttons on the unit. Unfortunately, I lost these on an airplane after 6 months of ownership.I ordered another pair and got it loaded by the same 15 year old using a "MAC", it also worked great for about 2 months when one day it went dead. I tried to charge it but, it still would not play despite the fact that the indicator light showed everything was working.. I tried contacting Tayogo through their website customer service as there was no phone number to call. After waiting two days for a response I finally got some "gibberish" about what buttons to push in what sequence. Nothing worked, I went through the process at least three times and finally simply asked that they honor their one year warranty. I got no response despite a couple of more requests for them to honor their warranty.I swim 4-5 times a week and was about to go "nuts" as I had become addicted to swimming to my music which I own. I ordered another pair from Amazon seeing the new Tayogo W16 2nd generation claims along with the new magnetic cable. I figured these may be better. The loading process was next to impossible as the unit would not recognize my various playlists. I had three different people try including myself using both a MAC and a PC. The unit would not recognize anything despite the indicator lights showing everything was ready to go. I just purchased another one which is still in the box. I am hesitant to do anything as my confidence is at a zero to one on a scale of 100.All I want is this thing to work on a consistent basis, a customer service group that is available 24/7 and speaks and writes English. And last of all honors their warranty.ATTENTION a new development just occurred, last week I received a little brown envelope from 4079 Beaver Oaks Drive, Duluth, Georgia 30096 with a "Swim Audio" MP3 player inside. This was not in a box, it was simply naked with an instruction manual inside. I gave it a try, you guessed it, no luck.I suggest that Tayogo either design a pre loaded, pre tested unit for sale with music selected by the customer or put a disclaimer that has the following warning:The enclosed unit is proudly manufactured in China at our "Manufactory". It is guaranteed at least 50% of the time prior to loading and 30% after loading if successfully loaded. Our customer service may respond or may not as your satisfaction is important to us.David
