Excellent shoe for the price
Bought these to replace my old worn out s-works mountain shoe. And after having a great shoe for so long, I was worried about the transition. Decided to pull the trigger on these due to the look, combo of features, and lower price compared to anything similar. After receiving them I am definitely impressed. The weight is only slightly more than my s-works, but the fit and feel is as good, or better, than those. The upper feels pliable but strong enough to protect my feel, and the color is really good. The layout and height of the tread make the shoe very stable on dirt/rocks/gravel, and not nearly as uncomfortable to walk in as other shoes I've tried. The toe box has some nice protection as well with a harder coating over the upper. The fit is also perfect, I wear a size 12.5-13 US, and ordered a 46.5. These were true to size and fit like a dream. they are tight in the heel box and sides, but have just enough room in the toes to not make you foot start hurting of feel like you can only wear the thinnest of socks. On the bike, these things feel even better. The boa easily gets the shoe nice and snug, and the faux-carbon shank feels just as sturdy as my previous shoes with full carbon.Haven't put in a ton of miles on them yet, but so far they are comfortable while pedaling.Overall, a great shoe for the price. I've already recommended to friends.

Great cycling shoes
Have been trying to replace my old pair of Gyro road shoes for some time now. Got thru Amazon few pairs from Gyro and some other brands and size was issue with all of them. Too small. Amazon is great with free return policy. Thank you Amazon. I wear size 13 US and getting correct size in cycling has been issue always. Got pair of these (size 48 EU) and they fit like glove. Nice, light, comfy, high tech shoes. Did few rides , fine tuned angle on set of sh-51 cleats and BOA tightness, good to go. Will be used on my road bike for my regular 50-60 miles rides but will be "tested" on my off road bike and next thing will be to by another pair :).

Was a great shoe until the toe box deformed rendering the shoe useless
I wore these shoes for about a year and put about 300 miles of mountain bike and gravel bike miles on them. One day I rinsed them off from a dusty and muddy ride which inadvertently warped the toe box liner on the inside. From the outside you can't see any damage but when you put the shoe on, you can feel that part of the toe box has collapsed or warped. Feels like there's a big dent on the inside which is probably the toe box liner that has deformed. I emailed Fizik customer support as instructed by the Amazon return policy only to be directed back to Amazon. Fizik would not honor the 2 year manufacturers defect policy because the shoes were not purchased directly from Fizik. I will not be purchasing any more Fizik products due to the poor quality of the craftsmanship and poor customer service.

Fizik stuff looks awesome and generally are top notch. Definitely narrower than street sneakers
These are meant to be entry level cycling shoes with a stiff sole thats cycling specific. As cycling specific shoes go, these are definitely very narrow in the toe box area. They’re also not going to be desirable for walking much off the bike- a heads up for those who may not be familiar with cycling shoes. While just using the single Boa tightening mechanism and a Velcro strap for the toe box, it’s been an adequate shoe for my casual use. The boa system is in my opinion and experience a game changer for cycling shoes as it; doesn’t have laces that can get tangled in driveline parts. Also they can be adjusted on the fly in very precise and consistent increments as one’s feet swell or for performance/comfort.The insoles are lackluster and may or may not be very optimal for one’s foot shape especially if one requires more arch support. The shoes are definitely on the narrow and low volume feet side of sizing. - especially compared to Specialized and other brands that offer what I consider a more appropriate universal sizing. The materials have held up well and will be fine for my purposes as a casual rider. Bikes are awesome

Sizing is Strange
The listing for these is very confusing as far as sizing (at least it was when I purchased them). I looked at the size guide on FizIks website and kept adding them to my Amazon cart until my cart reflected the size I needed. I typically wear a women’s size 8 and these fit good. I have only used them on my indoor trainer and never for more than an hour so I can’t say how comfortable they would be on long rides, but so far, I have no complaints. Thee are my first pair of clipless shoes, but I’ve had no issues getting in and out of the peddles (again, only used indoors so far!). Green would not have been my first color choice for bike shoes, but I actually like them. I also haven’t walked around in them since I keep them next to my bike, but I did have to walk upstairs to get something once and had no issues. Wouldn’t want to walk a long distance, but for a quick hike a bike, they would be fine.

High Quality, Well Designed bike shoes
I love Fiziks brand bike shoes. I have many pairs. I recently switched from road shoes to mountain biking shoes to prevent nerve damage in my feet from riding long distances. I found switching to mountain bikes shoes and getting a quality set of shoe inserts to cushion my feet really made the difference between pain and no pain. So, I bought these in a slightly larger size to allow enough room for thick inserts. The reason I buy Fiziks bike equipment is because it is high quality, superior design and its affordable. The main reason I buy Fiziks bike shoes is that they use a carbon sole that provides superior cushioning to the feet. Most shoes with carbon soles are pricey well over $400. When I switched to the mountain bike shoes, I wanted the carbon soles. These have those carbon sole feature that support my feet on long rides. This is my third pair, not because they wear out, but I want a pair for indoor riding separate for outdoor riding and a backup pair. These are high quality, well designed bike shoes for any type of riding. Don’t let the price fool you— they are the best shoe on the market and made in America.
