Q: Why is it so hard to get the XL inks? Amazon only sells them through third parties, who charge too much for shipping.

One answer why it might be so hard is Epson America is ALSO OUT OF THE XL INK as of 6-14-17. Quote Epson, "The Epson Store has sold out of our remaining stock on this product. We have not been provided with a date as to when we will be receiving another shipment of this item." Now I ask, how can the manufacturer be out of ink for its own printer??? It can still be found elsewhere for a hefty markup. Gouging?? My printer, the XP-960 has only been available on Amazon for less than two years and now the manufacturer (EPSON) can't supply ink for it??
