It works! No smell! Pretty easy to apply.
This is our mudroom. I wanted a place to showcase magnets that we collect from our travels.I was highly skeptical of magnetic paint. Their previous line of magnetic paints has mixed reviews. So, I decided to try the new line and it worked beautifully! The packaging says to use at least 3 coats. By the 2nd coat, the magnets here were sticking! But for longevity, I decided to pain 5 coats (the package says no more than 6 coats) and I put 1 layer of Sherwin Williams SuperPaint or Emerald line of Caviar on top. The magnetic paint is black when rolled on. I used 2.5L to cover the black area in the photo plus the top of the door to the ceiling on both the left and right doorways (not in the photo). The texture is not 100% smooth. But I don’t mind. As instructed, mix well and take your time to smoothen out the coat. Also, there’s virtually no smell! I would buy again and put in other places around my home - unless, for some reason, the magnetic strength declines over time. TBD.

Not worth the money
Can had busted and leaked all over itself during shipping (this is not my issue because I still had a good bit). This DOES NOT STICK TO ANYTHING no matter how many layers you put on!!!! I was going to make fridge magnets as gifts but this pain is worthless. Back to the drawing board!

Works ok
Needs a very strong magnet to actually stick but looks nice and easy to apply

Small Container
Worked well but the bucket is small and in order for the magnets to hold you need a couple layers of paint

awesome product for family spaces
my family loves this product for our space. we've purchased it before with different blends but we wanted to expand the magnetic wall space to have more room for attaching our stuff - artwork, notes, memos, calendars. Also, this new packaging is much easier to open. we're considering purchasing more for making a space in our kitchen so we can hang recipes and other decorations!

Don’t recommend
You will need ALOT if you’re doing a wall….i so far have 3 coats on and it wont hold a magnet. The actual store shipped fast and was great the product just sucks

Good idea unrealized
This is magnetic paint! Paint a door or a wall and magnets stick to it. Maybe... 6 coats later, the magnets stick somewhat. Kinda disappointed.

Put up photos with magnets
The magnetic paint worked really well for holding my photos. I haven’t tried hanging anything heavier yet. The paint is thick so I had to stir it quite a bit, but it was worth it. I am enjoying my magnetic wall.
