4 STARS Fit could be better, rusts a bit quick for stainless, otherwise good.
Fit is a bit loose and metal is very carbon heavy so it rusts very quickly, otherwise good Shears.

Can’t cut small twigs
I have numerous pairs of bonsai scissors in this long handle design from various makers. I was excited about these because they were cheap and so I wouldn’t care if they got banged up or if I forgot to clean them after each use.Unfortunately, they aren’t good at what they do. The gap between the blades (which is there intentionally to help with cutting larger branches) is too large and goes too close to the tip of the scissors. Because of this it bends smaller branches instead of cutting them.All other aspects of the shears are good and overall I like Tian bonsai. They are my go to for rust resistant tools that get worked hard (branch cutters, root cutters, etc). You can’t beat their value. Unfortunately, these just don’t make the cut…
