Works great
I have an older Dell desktop with built-in Ethernet connection, and it was getting flaikie. I ordered this one on review merits and it worked perfect. I installed, rebooted it it automatically connected. It was indicated online e that I might have to disable the built-in Ethernet but didn't have to. It connected automatically.

Good 2.5Gb card, no complaints, works well
This is the second NIC that I've received from Lemspum. The other card that I received was their X520DA1 which has been great.The card was packaged well, about on par with other 2.5Gb NICs at this price point. The card itself was in an antistatic bag. Included in the box were instructions and a disc with the drivers. You can also download drivers from Realtek's website (which is my preferred approach).I'll say that these 2.5Gb NICs are very similar. This card looks to be the same shape, layout, and controller as ASIN B0BRV17NCL.I like that a short bracket was included. I have other machines that use the short bracket type. The inclusion of the short bracket seems standard for NICs here on Amazon.The build quality is decent. The heatsink is much larger than the chip it's collecting heat from. It's mounted to the board with spring-loaded standoffs. The heatsink can be rocked back and forth on top of the chipset. Regardless it seems like the heatsink and thermal pad are making good contact with the chipset, so I don't expect this will have a negative effect on performance.This card has dedicated status LEDs for both the power state of the card and an established 2.5Gb link. The LEDs are surface-mounted to the PCB and are exposed by some simple holes in the bracket. I'm not a fan of this design as it's hard to read from an angle or if the card is enclosed in an opaque case. It can also be unsightly in a gaming build as the light disperses inside the case instead of being directed through the bracket.I connected this card to a test bench machine, installed the appropriate drivers, and connected it to another 2.5Gb interface using CAT6, CAT7, and CAT8 cables. This was a machine-to-machine connection without an intermediate router or switch to skew results. The card performed fine, hitting an average of 2.43 Gbps. This speed is on par with other 2.5Gb cards I've used.To test link integrity I ran another throughput test using iperf3 that lasted an hour. I did not see any dropouts in the link. The card was definitely warm at the end of the test, but that's what the heatsink is for. The test was performed from Ubuntu 20.04 LTS.At the time of writing this review, the price of this card was $14.39. This price is pretty good for these single port 2.5Gb NICs. The competing cards can offer a different controller. An Intel controller may have better compatibility for your use case.
