Small and unobtrusive in my ears
I wear a pair of mini-RITE (receiver in the ear) hearing aids but have sensitive ears. I hate being able to feel the receiver brush against the side of my ear canal. These 6 mm domes work great for me. I cannot feel them at all once I put my hearing aids in. I know there is a smaller size dome - a 5 mm - out there, but I have never seen them for sale, and only ad the ones my audiologist put on when I bought them. So I was glad to find these 6 mm size and find that they work great for me without discomfort.

Very comfortable with great sound transmission!
At first glance I thought these would be too small for my hearing aid and too small for my ear. (I ordered size small) However, these are made of super stretchy silicone and they fit right over the speaker just fine. Equally, the smaller size fit into my ear canal so much better and more comfortably than the "tulip" style that I have sworn by for a year now! These hold the speaker in place but allow enough natural sound to travel past the dome for more comfortable, amplified sound! I am seriously in disbelief how well these work. Great product.

Try the new power domes if you are using single vent domes
I have double vent and single vent domes. I want to try these new power vent domes also. I know that these have a much tighter fit in the ear canal but it will also make your ears feel stopped up. It is a feeling you have to get used to. Selecting the proper dome is important for not only comfort but also for proper hearing aid function. The type and size of the dome you select are critical for optimal hearing aid performance. The correct type and size of hearing aid dome form a critical part of the hearing aid prescription. My audiologist started me off with the double vent domes and never discussed all the other types. You should try them all and choose the one that best fits your comfort and hearing.

Never even knew I was supposed to change the domes.
This may sound silly, but I never knew i was supposed to change the domes.I got my hearing aides before I retired and my insurance ran out I try not to wear them because I don't want to become dependent on them to hear. When I removed them, I'd get a magnifying glass to clean them.When I saw these replacement domes, I pulled out my instruction manual. Yep, don't clean them, change them! Why on earth didn't the audiologist mention that at the fitting?I'm extremely happy with these Oticon replacement domes, and am now experimenting with sizes and styles.

Not the standard dome
These 6mm domes have an extra bulge onear the opening end which makes them feel a bit larger than the standard domes. It makes them either more painful or harder to keep in the ear.

different than what I have
I've had my hearing aid for 2 years and am just now purchasing new domes. These were the right size, but looked very different (see photo). Interestingly, they fit my Oticon hearing aid and fit inside my ear, so all good!
