Hawthorn Berry Pwd Org - 4 Oz,(Starwest Botanicals)

Have been using Hawthorne for my blood pressure for a few months. I usually purchase a different brand which is in liquid form. Gave this a try because it seemed like a better value. So far, so good. Has no unpleasant taste. Only thing is there was no serving size instructions on the package, so I’ve been taking half a teaspoon. Good quality and size value.

I purchased this for my dog who was recently diagnosed with heart disease. It is supposed to help with strengthening the heart, but not sure how well it works at the stage of his health. It seems like a good quality product, no weird smells, and my dog doesn't seem to mind the taste.

I was using this until i realized there was a hawthorn tree in my yard. Upon reading the effectiveness of the plant, found that the leaves are the important part. When I harvested the leaves and powdered them, they were a greener color than this powder. Now i have a local source and an international source.

I give this to my dog who had a severe heart murmur and at his last checkup it was much better. He doesn't mind the taste. This is a small business, I like that.

I have confidence in this brand as I used to get my spirulina from them and it worked wonders. I already know what to expect from hawthorn berry, so can't wait to see results. I took off a star for not including a measuring scoop. Taste isn't terrible.

I found what seems like ground up glass in product and called starwest and spoke with Endira/ Indira and she was going to investigate based on lot number and get back with me. It has been over a month now and I have not heard back. I hated to leave the feedback as I have used them for years buy glass is serious enough to update me on findings.

Did not affect my blood pressure.
