I have a fermentation fridge that's about 30 years old and I thought sure the compressor was dead when it wouldn't kick on. Fans worked, could hear compressor switch click on then click back off without the compressor running.Anyway I pulled a switch that looked like this one off the compressor, and it was rattling a lot like the disk was broken (it was). Couldn't find *the* replacement part, so I went with this one. I think the resistance is slightly different than what's on the circuit diagram, but it fit, and my compressor/fridge has been working for a few months now, so idk what it means long term, but if it buys me a few more years out of that fridge I'd say it's worth 10 bucks. It's already controlled a couple of fermentations for me and cold crashed 12 gallons of beer (down to 33-34F) so I feel pretty good about the purchase.

The matching model for my Frigidaire cost something like $50 (it had only one prong). I took a gamble and bought this one for around ten bucks and it did the trick.
