9/8/19 - I recently purchased a 10 inch foam type mattress in a box. It's pretty comfy except the 1st night I kinda slipped out of the bed onto the floor, lol. Apparently the combo of the high height of my bed (w/frame, box springs, etc) & the fact that my sheets are super slippery on the mattresses cover contributed to this. I like the height, so I immediately looked for a mattress cover. I choose to look for a fitted sheet version over an encasement style. Encasements never seem to fit my mattresses correctly. There was always too much room & movement. I was concerned that my 10 inch bed would have the same problem. I believe I found 1 review that said they had a 10 inch mattress & it fit perfectly. So I gave it a try. The fit is amazing! The elastic is tight enough to not make anything slip around & if I ever decide to add a topper, it will be able to accommodate it. My sheets do not slip on it which is awesome & I haven't felt hot for the couple nights that I've slept on it so far. They also aren't noisy at all. This product shipped quickly & came with 2 pillow protectors that zipper. I will update my review after having it a bit longer, but wanted to give my initial thoughts.

I have a dog with some bladder issues that make her leak occasionally. I got this to protect my mattress topper and have had no leakage through this protector. It is correctly sized to fit over even a thick mattress topper without difficulty and is soft so could be used even without sheets.

Soft. Not noisy. Protects pillow from exterior moisture. Zipper adequate, though it's a little hard to pull. At least it works. I've had some that the zipper broke, others that the pillow cover itself was made of inferior plastic that, after a few months, split because air trapped inside caused it to pop what my head rested on it a bit quickly. This plastic seems to be better quality. Also, a tip: I now don't zip it all the way closed. I don't plan on dipping the pillow in water so leaving an inch or two not quite zipped isn't a problem for moisture and allow air to escape rather than popping like a balloon. If I need another I'll probably buy this product.

Our child is potty trained but we left this on the mattress incase of an accident. He spilled his full water bottle, and the mattress was completely dry! Amazing product. I will be purchasing another for our other child!

Best mattress protector I have used yet! I had another that I thought was similar and it was nice as it incased the whole mattress. However it did not have as much flexibility as this one and made the mattress feel hard and not squishy anymore, causing back pain. This one has very deep pockets, so it does stay put! And I have a 12in memory foam mattress along with a serta gel infused memory foam topper which is 4 inches. And it still doesnt compromise the comfort and squishiness of the topper at all! Other protectors arent even a comparison as they are the gross plasticy ones.We knew we needed one for potty training as we are bedsharing for convenience with a child who is 3 years old. But after washing it and seeing how it looked in water, I can see it is legitimately water resistance if not waterproof. Either way, even if it let's some liquid through. It still is worth it for the comfortablibily factor as I wouldnt want a painful back every night just to protect against a potential accident. We will be getting one for our daughters own bed once she transitions into her own bed.In the pictures, I dont have it pulled totally tight, for comfortabiliy and flexibility... but it shows there is still plenty of fabric under the mattress and wont come off easily when you dont want it to.

This product is okay. It is waterproof, and protects our mattress, but the material is very plastic-y, and both the mattress protector and especially the pillowcases that come with it are quite loud with every little movement, so it takes some getting used to. Another problem we've encountered is that due to the type of material used, the mattress protector is somewhat slick, and so our fitted sheets keep slipping off of it almost every night, which is very frustrating!Ultimately the product does still work and accomplish what it's supposed to, so we won't be returning it, but we would have picked out something different if we had known about these problems.
