Love that it goes straight up and down and it dual monitor pole compatible
So far so good. Installation is obviously easy (take out of box and plug it in). It is sturdy, hefty, looks clean. No issues with button taking forever. It isn't whisper quiet when going up or down, but who expected it to be? My main concern was that I have a dual monitor pole that attaches to the back of my old desk. The clamp for the pole is probably 4 inches while the flexpro power 40 is less than an inch thick on top shelf. I was able to find some material to fill the gap and tighten things and all seems good now.I had a varidesk at my old job and loved it. Where this shines over it is that it goes straight up vs out towards the person. My desk today is in a narrow area (WFH) so going up and down vs forward was extremely important.Price point for electric motor made this a great purchase. Consider adding a thick floor mat / cushion if you're not to standing at your desk.

Excellent quality and reasonably priced
Excellent ; Highly recommend. This is my second purchase of this 40" standing desk for my home. I bought the first one 1 year ago for my office. It is very sturdy, easy to use, and I have no back pain that I was getting when I was sitting a majority of the day, and swiveling or leaning over to the phone, drawers or a printer. My partners/staff/clients could not believe that I stand almost 5 or 6 hours a day, never getting tired, no back pain, and have been doing it for a year. Most who comments loved the setup. The 40" is the right size (for me) if you have 2 monitors of at least 22 inches each. Each base of the monitor is probably about 12 inches wide. The 32 " is definitely too small. The 36 is marginal. The electric power will avoid having to bend over and adjust the height. An anti-static floor mat is a must, too. I purchased the mat for approximately $ 38 too. Again, very reasonable.

Yeah, no more sitting down ALL day long!
I'm writing this review right now from my new FlexPro desk. It works great and was easy to set up and use right out of the box. The height range is perfect. You'll have to buy a foot pad to go with it, though, to minimize strain on your legs if you're standing up for long periods. Don't get a flat pad. Make sure it has bumps and ridges so you can change foot positions throughout the day. I got the Urvigor Standing Mat, Not Flat Anti-Fatique Mat. It's also available on amazon and works great.

Consider your height
First, this is very well made and the electric lift component works perfectly. It was easy to set up My issue is with the height of the keypad shelf relative to the monitor shelf. It's only a difference of 3.5 inches. I am 5'3". To get the monitor to the height that I am not bending my neck up or down, then the shelf is too high for best keyboard use. In truth, for my height, I would have been better to buy a smaller unit that could raise the monitor and I could alternate between using the keyboard drawer on my desk when sitting and the top of the desk when standing. I hope this insight is helpful. I read a lot of reviews before buying and this topic was never addressed which is why I am adding it.

Great product, great company, great customer service!
I ordered, tried and returned two other risers before this one. The first was not electric, and with my broken and repaired (and currently still fragile and weak) back, the gas-charged piston was too strong under light load and not strong enough under heavy load. I needed electric. But my first electric did not rise high enough for a 6'2" guy and the electric lift mechanism was poorly designed so the piston could barely get started from the low position. This one, however, is a keeper! I won't tell you a bunch of details that you can read in the description, but I'll give you my opinion. Straight up-and-down works best for me. And the lift mechanism is strong and just fast enough, and doesn't slam at the bottom. For me, the 9" full-width keyboard tray is a must, and the vertical barrier behind it keeps stuff from falling through, and it looks clean. I expected the 16" wide top to be a little narrow, but I got a $32 monitor arm for my 22" monitor to get the stand out of the way and now I have plenty of room for my laptop, typical desk debris and 11x17" papers. Also, the flat "legs" that extend from the lift platform out toward the user stabilize the entire desktop very well without taking up any room. And lastly, I had a few nerdy questions about the design and construction, and Katie at Stand Steady was very helpful, friendly and quick to reply to my emails. I give Stand Steady and the FlexPro Power 40 a 5-star rating!

2 days in and my back is thanking me already!!
Product delivered on time, no damage or dents in the box, product packaged well with no issues upon unpacking. This is a VERY heavy, large box for which I needed assistance in getting in my office and set up on my desk area. Very sturdy, takes effort to move if your are not sure of desk placement. I purchased the two level standing desk converter from the Stand Steady Flexpro series (Flexpro Power, 40in. electric lift). I chose the electric lift because of my size (4' 11" with short arm reach) and back health limitations. It has clean lines, I like the closed lower level back plate (haven't lost a pen nor do the keyboard/mouse slide away). I love the ease of having the flexibility of using my desk space sitting/standing at the push of a button! Product comes fully assembled, remove from packaging, truly is plug and play. The two (full) levels of work space is AMAZING! Only negative I can forsee (and I hope I don't have too) is with this product being electric lift, it does not appear to have an alternative for operating manually) I will update this review upon weeks of use.*Purchasing note* Product price was the same if ordered from Amazon or the Stand Steady website ($329.99) I chose to order from Amazon for the 2 day free delivery. I did not clear my cart on the Stand Steady website and received an email the next day with an offer to save 15% + free shipping on my first order. If you are not in a hurry . . you can save some cash to order your anti-fatigue mat, :)
