The best chocolate ever.

I purchased this brand based on reviews. It was very easy to warm in the microwave in increments and color. It set quickly and did not have issues with bubbles or anything.I had never used melting chocolate before and while I need some practice releasing it from molds it held up and my experience was way smoother than I anticipated.I had nothing to compare it to and while I broke many pieces I was able to “glue” them back together with a toothpick and some warm chocolate. A friend came over to make chocolate dipped cake pops with a special chocolate warmer and another brand of melts.She struggled with uneven gloppy mess. Her chocolate didn’t set evenly, clumped up and seemed to crumble easily. My first attempt was way smoother and I had no idea what I was doing aside from a YouTube video on melting.I used the chocolates for delicate details on a princess themed cake

Product has a great flavor and is packaged well. But for whatever reason seller went from being customer friendly oriented to extremely chiseling. We ask that you as a buyer research your history of purchases with said seller and make an appropriate choice to protect you. We have found a different supplier.

It's been a while since I've seen the Merckens name. I haven't done a ton of chocolate melts in the last few years, so I haven't picked any up in a long while. A good chunk of that is due to allergies, but luckily I have my lovely assistants who were more than willing to eat yummy chocolate for a review. This is kind of a blast from the past.First tings first, I have to say that I forgot how much fun it was to do melt and pours. It's a simple activity that's pretty easy to do and can be enjoyed by a wide variety of ages and cooking levels. These melt super easily and smoothly so you don't have to worry about having a ton of specialized equipment on hand. I do highly recommend that you invest in some chocolate molds or some bags that can handle melted chocolate, as that will make it easier to use. Of course you can also just eat the wafers as is, but where's the fun in that?I can't really give you an answer as far as expense goes. This doesn't seem too out of the ordinary and keep in mind that this is an established brand, so you're also paying for name value. I've been assured that this chocolate tastes amazing and is decadent, so you can rest easy on that end as well.

I ordered thus item to make chocolate bars and it came 2 days early. The melts were intact and I immediately opened the bag to taste then since I've never had this brand before. Oh they are so good. Can't wait to make my candy bars.

This chocolate does not work in a chocolate fountain. It's too heavy and does not flow well. It breaks easily and hardens too quickly. Ive tried this product several times with no luck. It's cheap, yes. But if you are planning on using it in a chocolate fountain, you'll be disappointed.
