Great knife at less than half the brand name price!
I have purchased two and have had no issues with either one both look just like my cold steel version but at less than half the price. The box is the only difference white no printing on it.My actual cold steel Spartan says made in Taiwan. My guess is that the manufacturer in Taiwan decided to over run the Cold Steel order and make a few side bucks selling the same knife with zero logos. Like someone said locktite and a torn wrench set would be a good investment for this and the Cold Steel original. Very happy with my 2 purchases will definitely buy more. Love it! And at this price will use it for everything. Box cutter, mail opener, fish cleaning, hunting, EDC ect...

A very janky “white box” Cold Steel clone.
Since I started getting into knife collecting, my curiosity had made me order some clone knives off Amazon. I quickly noticed a pattern: most of the decent clones come in fairly thick, black, unbranded “pull up” type of boxes and the janky ones typically come in thin, white pull-out tab boxes. Well, this knife came in an extra crappy white box, accurately forecasting the things to come.Taking the knife out of the box, I was instantly not impressed. Everything just looked and felt extra janky, from bad fit and finish, to the extra plasticky and creaky handle, loose screws and awful blade centering. However, the real kicker came when I deployed the big, badly ground, ugly dull finished blade. It flipped open ok but when it locked into place, there was a lot of blade play, both side to side and along the pivot axis. The side-to-side play was easy enough to fix by tightening the pivot screw but the up/down (“lock rock) play was the result of bad parts fit. Cold Steel’s “Tri-Ad” lock is famous for it’s strong, rock solid lockup, but not here. A casual look over revealed that the lock bar was cut crookedly and I’m guessing that the internal fit was equally bad, resulting in this massive lock rock. I sincerely doubt that the blade steel is Japanese AUS8 either.Due to the variances in manufacturing, you might get lucky and not get a copy with lock rock. However, I still wouldn’t recommended wasting any money on this knife.

Counterfeit Cold Steel
I bought this for my brother before I realized what it was. I cannot speak for it's sturdieness or reliability.

Great clone for a great price
Not sure what the crybabies knocking this thing expected out of a 25 dollar clone. It's literally priced like a gas station knife. One person even complained about the box it came in, lol.I expected to need to do lots of work on it, and was pleasantly surprised at the quality. I own the CS version, and this is really not too far off at 1/3 of the price. Anyone that likes to tinker will love this thing. I'm going to order a few more.If you don't know what loctite is and / or don't own a torx set, this is not going to be for you. Better start saving your pennies and buy the original instead. All negative reviews are due to people paying for malt liquor and expecting champagne, in my opinion.

Not a great Cold Steel clone
While it shares the shape & triad lock with the Cold Steel Spartan, that's where the similarities end. The blade was very loose & if you tighten to the point where there's no blade play, it's nearly impossible to open. Not sure if the blade steel was actually AUS8, but it wasn't very sharp... I didn't keep it long enough to try to sharpen it. I have a real Spartan that's still razor sharp after many years of use. The handle material is a lower quality plastic than the real Spartan (I believe it's Griv-ex or FRN). In this case, I'd spend the extra $$ and get the real thing.

People's expectations too high
The media could not be loaded. Alot of the reviews are very misinformed when it comes to clones and bootlegs. You cannot expect a one to one when it comes to quality. Yes there's gonna be blade place, stuffs gonna get loose easier but it is a cool knife for 25 dollars. It's a clone of an 80 dollar knife. The margins are not high enough to make one close to that quality.id say I'm satisfied with what I got considering the price.

Very low quality
The bladeplay and loose hardware was atrocious. Regretful purchase.

Good knock off
Same as Cold Steel but a lot cheaper. Could not find any differences between the two
