Very Little Bleed-through
As a teacher, the most important thing I look for in a highlighter is bleed-through. I gave these highlighters the newsprint test and it passed. I use a social studies curriculum that includes a weekly history newspaper. The paper is as cheap as possible because these are needed for one week only. Students have their own copy. Some highlighters bleed straight through to the other side marking the opposite paragraph. My test results are here in the photos. You'll see there is very little bleed - through even on this very cheap newsprint. There is no bleed-through on regular copy paper. This highlighter passes the test so it comes recommended.

Wonderful WOSWEL Highlighters Bulk , these are ideal for emphasizing the sections that my customers must sign! Vibrant, so it catches your eye, non-bleeding, and durable! Great for an office or school that goes through a lot of highlighters. Good price and good quality.

not quite sharpie-level smear proof, but good quality
If you are a teacher buying highlighters (probably yourself) in bulk, these are more cost-effective than the sharpie highlighters and even slightly lower than the amazon basics (as of the time of this review) is calculating unit cost per highlighter. The cap snaps onto the back so it doesn't get lost when using, and the highlight is equally as bright as any competitor. They did smear a bit today when I highlighted an equation written in a combination of flair pen and regular pen, but solid quality for the classroom and a great lower cost alternative.
