I wanted a small whiteboard for the kitchen for my child’s spellings. Allowing them to be seen frequently and reminding us to practice. It’s perfect for the job. Not intrusive just the right size. The pens and rubber attaching with magnet is a big bonus.

I have a full sized dry-erase board that I wanted to install on the wall in front of my desk, but it’s heavy and I’m not very handy and knew I’d destroy the wall if I even tried. I came across this while thinking of alternatives and thought “wow that sounds perfect, but probably works like crap.” To be honest my biggest fear was about the paint being ripped off when/if I had to remove it (seems I’m always a step away from destroying the walls…) But I really wanted to try so I got it.And it’s Perfect!!! Even though the wall is slightly bumpy, the surface of the whiteboard is smooth. Installation was a cake walk, even for me. Start with the corner, smooth down to the edge, and slowly remove the backing while smoothing out any air bubbles—and done! After I stuck the corner on, I tested it by pulling it off the wall and thank God no paint came off (although after being on a while I’m not sure what will happen. Not worried though).AND it’s actually magnetic! Little magnets, eraser and pen holder with pens in it all stay on the whiteboard with ease. Oh, and I didn’t realize that this came with markers but it came with 3 (black, red, blue) and they write surprisingly well! Overall the whole package is a great deal and a great product. If you’re worried about your walls, fear not. There are many brands of stick-on-wall dry erase “papers” listed on Amazon, some are probably better than others—not sure about any other brand but this roll is perfect!

I made the mistake of thinking that the White Board is itself 'Magnetic', so without any other interventions you could place it on a metallic fridge door and it would attract to the metal and stay there. This is NOT the case.It appears to have a flexible iron layer to which magnets can attach, but the paper itself is not magnetic.When ordering, the attraction of this item was (I thought) that with magnetic force alone you could use this as your white board, and when finished, you could move it around to another location. The truth is that unless you use another method to fix it to the wall or surface, it won't stay there. It does have an adhesive backing, which I'm sure would work, but another reviewer showed how the adhesive was so strong that (when repositioning) it peeled the lacquer off her fridge, ruining the finish. I am not going to risk this.The white-board paper is indeed a reasonable surface for attaching magnetic items, but I don't really need it for that function. My fridge door itself is already metal, so magnets attach to it fine now. I wanted a 'magnetic white board' for the fridge so I could place it there, and after a while move it to a new location.At the moment, I am securing the white board to the fridge using the included green peg magnets. I may add some double sided tape eventually. As to its dry-erasing function, that also works fine.3 Stars, as the webpage explanation does not make it clear that the white board itself is not magnetic.

So I bought another! I stuck it to the doors of my Dreambox-2 so I can remember dates for craft shows.
