Q: Is it heavy for an 85 old woman to heat and wear by herself ?

My Mother is 89, about4’7”, and 105 #. From my experience, with her arthritis inhibiting her ability to raise her arms enough to remove most things from the microwave above her stove, she cannot heat and remove this pad. IF the micro were at counter height she would be able. The pad is heavy, so again with her arthritis, she cannot put the shoulder wrap on by herself. But when we put it in place for her, she is able to wear it comfortably for at least 30 minutes before the weight annoys her. It always gets an “ahhhhh” response!

Q: What are the herbs used?

The pack contains natural dried lavender. The scent is mild, although it intensifies slightly when warmed. I appreciate that the scent is not heavy or overwhelming. For aromatherapy to be effective, the scent needs to be subtle - it should never assault the senses like some other packs do. This has been a lifesaver for me; especially after working out of doors all day. My body likes to remind me that I'm not 25 anymore. I highly recommend this, and I'm buying 4 more as gifts for all the girls who deserve a little pampering.
