Super smooth and quiet rolling compared to the crappy hard plastic wheels all office chairs seem to come with. These are also no taller than the stock wheels so your chair won't feel to high when at the lowest height setting.

Verified that it works with Ikea Chair Flintan. Rolls very nice on hard flooring, very silent and smooth. Unfortunately not recommended on carpet that is high or medium pile, around .5". If you are struggling with finding a good desk chair pad, forget the plastic ones, research tempered glass desk chair pads. Highly recommend, very durable and no more wear.

Used with ikea chair, when i picked up the chair one fell out. They dont fall out if you just keep the chair on floor, rolls nice on carpet and vinyl flooring

I have an IKEA Millberget office chair that is still in great shape. The wheels have taken a beating over the years on concrete floor. I have the chair in a new place now with a chair mat on top of carpet. Moving around was really tedious because of the old wheels. I ordered these and they fit perfectly. These are way better than the original. I find myself shooting across the mat now that I have wheels that actually turn. These wheels really saved the day. I love my chair and now it is whole again.

The item arrived today and I can confirm with confidence that it absolutely does have ball-bearings for smooth swivel action.UNSOLICITED ADVICE: Perhaps some chairs have mounting areas that contact the upper part of the wheel's housing. If that is the case, one might try inserting small washers as spacers into the receiver opening to prevent the post from going in too far. The correct number of washers might take some trial and error. It's possible this solution might compromise stability-- so take this advice with the appropriate caution.The wheels seem well designed, with a precise build quality, and durable high-quality look & feel. I'm glad that these wheels don't add to the height. I'm very happy with this purchase.

These are great rollers that replaced the rollers on an IKEA chair. Not sure if there was defect in the original chair but the rollers would not move and would scrape across the floor. These are wonderful, easy to install and roll so much better. Be sure to pay attention if it is an IKEA chair. I did not know the make of the chair and ordered the first ones which did not fit but once I realized the make of the chair, it was easy to find.

I got these wheels to avoid scratches on a wooden floor from the original plastic wheels that came with the chair. Decided to go for these rather than a mat. Glad I did, they were easy to fit and the chair moves much better now and almost rolls too well as if push off slightly when stand up from desk chair can end up going back way more than would expect. They were slightly smaller than original wheels but not by much and height difference not noticeable in seat even without adjusting chair.Would recommend

It took me about 20 minutes to replace the old wheels with the new ones. Not through any fault of the new ones, just that 2 of the 5 old wheels left their metal shafts in the chair base which I then had to remove.Now fitted with the new wheels, the office chair looks more stylish and the silver and transparent new look matches the silver wheel base of the chair. The glide is now much smoother and quieter, even when going off a small ledge from the floor protector onto the wooden floor.The office chair has also become much easier to maneuver both seated and unseated.One of the easiest, quickest, and least expensive upgrades to an office or study environment. Recommended.
